Also the main parts of this story is gonna be mainly Thalia and Percy Povs ig so yeah..don't expect other..

The next day.

Percy Pov:

I woke up earlier than most and just sat on the sleeping bag looking around wondering how I fit into all of this.

"It takes some getting used to" Someone said and I flinched. "Didn't mean to scare you" he said, "it's fine Luke, nothing I'm not used to" I said. "Why are you used to it?" He asked "stepfather" I said

His face went blank for a second. "Oh that sucks," "Yeah I guess but I'm just glad I'm not living with him anymore" I said. "That's good I guess, anyways capture the flag is today"

"Capture the flag?" "Yeah we play it every once in awhile basically sword fight people in the woods until someone brings a flag" "Ah, I see the easy answer" he laughed "I suppose..." he looked out the window. "Suns going up it's almost time for breakfast" he said "One last question?" I asked "sure why not" "Why is the tree the protective barrier?" He took a deep breath and said, "well a few years back there was this girl named Thalia and she was a daughter of Zeus, hades sent some monsters after her and she...died.....so when she died her father turned her into a tree" he said "The King of Olympus....turned her into a tree?" I questioned. "Not the best idea but her spirt resides in the tree and now protects the campers" he said. "Well sounds like a fun story," I said

A few minutes later the sun rose and the campers woke up, I was lost in thought thinking about the tree though, Did she know she was gonna die? What would happen if she was alive now? I decided that after Lunch I was gonna go talk to the tree, Yes talk to the tree it may be weird but she is technically still alive so she can technically still hear me.

We walked to the dining pavilion and started eating and I walked up to the fire and saw a small girl tending

"Why are you tending the fire, Shouldn't you be eating?" I asked. "Thank you for noticing me Perseus many do not, I am Hestia and I am perfectly fine over here but thank you for asking" she said and smiled. "The goddess?" I asked "Shouldn't people recognize you more?" "I prefer to be unnoticed" she said "Oh, ok"
I decided to send prayers to Hestia and Zeus, I asked Zeus "Why a tree?" And left the fire.

I never got an answer.

"Who'd you sacrifice to?" Luke asked "Uh...Just Hestia really," I said "Oh...Why?" "She's a mainly unnoticed goddess, besides if the gods can abandon their kids then they probably shouldn't be sacrificed to" His eyes lit up and I raised an eyebrow "You don't like the gods?" He asked. "The gods are fine it's just their ways, they abandon their children, make them fight in wars, and the main reason we exist it because they cheat on their significant others" I said. "Makes sense" he said

Breakfast shortly ended after that conversation and we all wandered off to do our own things. I walked over to the camp borders and climbed the tree,

"Hello Thalia" I said. Obviously there was no response,
I sat down on the branch carefully not to fall. "Maybe one day you'll be able to respond, for now you can just hear me ramble about my thoughts" I thought I felt something in the tree just spark, I brushed it off as nothing and comfortably sat in the silence, "Why did you do it?" I asked to the tree. "Sacrifice yourself?"
I figured it was pointless and climbed down from the tree. As soon as I jumped to the ground I saw a spirt thing form out from the tree. "Thalia?" I called out, "That is me who are you?" She asked. "I am Percy....Percy Jackson, How are you here?" "Aren't you supposed to be dead?" "Uh...Yeah...I think, How long has it been?" She asked. "Like 5 years!" I said "Luke and Annabeth how old are they?" "Well Luke is 19, and Annabeth is like 12 I think" I replied. "How can I see you?" I asked "I don't know nobody else really does but I can see the others as Annabeth and Luke talk often and great job fighting the Minotaur by the way," She said.
"Oh...you saw that..." I blushed in embarrassment, "Anyways you never answered my question" I said "Why did you do it?" "Well, it felt like the right thing to do to save my friends and if one of us had to die it was..gonna be me" she said. "That's sad, I think I'm gonna go research as much as a demigod can about how in seeing you right now"  I said "Well goodbye Percy and maybe I will see you again, It's nice to finally talk to someone" she said. "Bye Thalia" I said

-15 Minutes Later-

"Percyyyy Where you been? You were gone for like an hour" said Luke, "I was just...touring the camp?" "Uh...Ok anyways I'm doing sword training in the Arena so if you want I can teach you a few moves" he said "Sure why not, I need like an Hour though" I said "Ok" he said and walked away. I walked up to some random camper and asked "Are there any sorts of electronics here?" "I mean, Chiron has a computer but he said we only use that for emergencies" "Thanks!" I said and ran off.

"Wait, I forgot where the big house is...." I spent like 10 minutes wandering around for it and ran into Annabeth, "Heyyyy Annabeth...where's the big house exactly?" I asked she pointed in a direction and just walked away.

"Thank you very much" I said.

Once I found it I walked into it thankful that Mr. D was not there, I walked to an attic looking place and immediately decided that this was not where I was gonna find a computer but instead of going back down I walked to a mummy dressed in tie dye. "What even is this?" I asked "I am the spirt of Delphi, Keeper of the Prophecy's, Approach Seeker and Ask".

"What?" I asked "You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned. You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend, and you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end" It said with green mist coming out "BRO WHAT DID I SAYYY, nevermind I give up" I said and left the attic.

"Percy Jackson, What were you doing up there?" Chiron asked "Looking for a computer but then the mummy in tie dye started rambling on about some stuff" I said "Oh...ok...........Just go get ready for capture the flag.." Chiron said and walked out. "Totally weird but so was the oracle thing"

-Totally skipping the fighting in capture the flag-

-Percy gets claimed-

"All hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of Poseidon," Chiron said

"One more thing to add on my list of weird things" I said
