???? POV

We all made our way back to the Narukami Grand Shrine without any commotion along the way. Once We made it there, we grouped up and discussed our next course of actions.

"Before making a plan, what is the most important thing one must do?" Yae Rhetorically asked.

Paimon wasted no time in deciding that thinking of an answer was useless, quickly asking for an answer. "I don't know, what is it?"

If one asked a question, shouldn't the person receiving at least consider it for a second or two before blatantly admitting to not knowing? In this case, I thought that the answer was a simple one.

Folding her arms, Miko's attention turns to Paimon. "You must understand the situation you're facing."

She then goes in to explain the facts of the case, and what allows the Vision Hunt decree to prevail. "The vision Hunt decree was obviously devised as a means of manipulating the Shogun, the ones behind it knowing full well her susceptibility as a puppet with a single-minded focus on eternity."

Aether chimes, in, adding his own observations into this case. "The Balladeer confirmed this."

"Yes, this is the strongest piece of evidence we have to go on."

In the end, there's no point of us putting this all together is we don't have any physical evidence. Right now, everything that has been done was verbal, and witnessed by outsiders who will be unable to convince anyone high enough to actually do something about the vision hunt decree.

"So, if you acknowledge that they're the cause of this problem, what do you intend on doing about them?" I asked. After all, she did say that she was the electro Archon's servant, she's old, so she must be strong too, right?

If anything, I think that she could just end them all now, and then explain the situation to the Raiden shogun later, surely that would force Raiden Ei to come out and understand something.

Though, Yae's thinking process seems to be different compared to mine. "Simple really. I've decided the best way to go over this is... To start a rebellion in the Tenryou Commission."

Paimon's face contorted in confusion as she places her hands on her hips. "Rebellion? What are you talking about? After everything you said, it sounds like the Tenryou commission has rebelled already."

I quickly intervened, rebutting Paimon's statement. "Just because the Tenryou are rebelling, it doesn't mean that everyone is aware of it." I explain. "So, let's say that a certain someone- of high enough ranking, were to find out the truth, how would you think that'd go?"

The child's eyes widened at my implications. "Turning the clan against each other!?"

Yae claps, I assumed that she was amused and was pleased with how quickly I had caught on to her plan. Though, its not that impressive. Once you've done it once, it soon becomes easy to know who is and who isn't kept in the dark.

"That's right. If we manage to convince her, I'm sure we'll be able to get you another audience with the Raiden." She tells us. That's nice and all, but it's clear that it won't be as easy as she makes it out to be. Especially since I have an idea of who that 'she' is, and I'm not fond of stubborn people.

Aether frowns, displeased by all the indirect answers he was receiving. It's a shame. I thought he would've caught on quicker. "Don't be so coy. Who is this 'certain someone'?" He asked.

A proud, devious smile landed on the Shrine maidens face as she proceeds to answer his question. "I'll give you a clue: she's currently in charge of the shogun's army, she visits the shrine at this month every time, and she is our guest today."
