3rd POV

"Say, Flamebrains?" The pyro user turned to Paimon at the mention of her nickname.

They were setting up camp for the night, ready to be facing the next day ahead of them no matter what was in store. But of course, much rest is needed before they could continue their journey.

Akemi tilted her head to the side. "Hm? What is it Paimon?" She asked.

"The person.. I mean- dragon who raised you, what was he like?"

Aether who had just finished cooking the chicken mushroom skewers walked over to the other two, handing over some. Then he spoke. "To be honest, I'm curious too. You do like to talk about him a lot!."

The girl thought about it, her eye's gazing at the sky. "Well, from my travels, I've learnt that Karazumei was a rare breed of dragon, and a dangerous one too."

"How dangerous do you say?" Inquired the child.

"Well, I believe I was told that he was... Powerful, strategic in the past, some people even considered him invincible. It always seemed to people that he was always holding back dispite this."

Paimon released a sigh in awe. "That sounds awesome!"

Akemi nodded in agreement, taking a bite from her food. "Yeah, but that's only what I've been told."

Aether sat closer to Akemi, who laid next to the campfire. "Well, what was he like to you then?"

"Yeah! If that's what other people thought, then we have to hear about your thoughts too!"

"I've seen him kill if that's what you're wondering. They're right when they say those things about them."

"But..?"

"He's a loving father figure towards me and protective too. He lacks human knowledge, and he couldn't seem to let things slide. I remember him battling once because of that trait. I don't know how it went, but I remember the ending." Akemi reached to the cloak she wraps around her neck.

"There was once a time where..."

_-_-_-_-_

The cries and anguish of the child could be heard from miles away.

She hid behind a bush after witnessing the aftermath of a fearsome battle that took place between her dragon, Karazumei and the mysterious yellow God who had appeared with an enslaved Yaksha and his God.

The last thing Akemi remembered was the transformation of into dragons, one being Zumei, while the yellow God also transformed. There where many things that were uncertain to her at the time, but their were things she was sure about.

1. The God who led the Yellow God here were only here to use him as a pawn as a method to take down the Fire Dragon. This ended up in a failure.

Having seen this, the enemy left without another word.

The 2nd thing was very clear. It was a bloody mess.

As a kid, the death of living beings was something Akemi would never thought she'd have to see. However, at this moment she was faced with the appalling sight of a dragon who's been beaten, bruised, pacified.

And in front of it all was Karazumei, the one who ended his life.

The man slowly transformed back into the form of a human, however his injured left wing could not be hidden, and had to be left out.
