𝐓𝐞𝐧

As Harley woke the morning after Night of Champions her thoughts were running crazy. The thoughts running through her head drove her crazy and it seemed like her mind could not shut off for nothing. More specifically the previous night with Joe lingered on her mind.

She had no idea why. Well she did but she didn't want to admit it.

Instead of trying to make sense of it like a normal person did she did the irrational and pushed all those thoughts, emotions, and feelings down as far as she could. Instead keeping herself distracted with the arrival of her best friend that she was on her way to pick up.

Her childhood and bestest friend would be flying in to spend a week with her and that was what motivated her that morning. (not anything or anyone else) Despite having to get up a bit earlier and get mixed up in the airport traffic, when she saw the fact that she had been waiting for so long, she was excited beyond belief.

When she pulled up to the exit of the airport she saw the familiar face waiting with her suitcase and immediately put the car into park before jumping to greet her friend.

She ran like a maniac, "AHHH" The girls tightly wrapped their arms around each other, "You're here!"

"I'm here!" Kaia, Her best friend replied as the two began to jump around with excitement. "I'm so excited!"

Harley finally pulled away after the tight hug, "I missed you!"

"Me too." Kaia gushed, eyeing her friend up and down, "Look at you, you look so hot. You're bod is incredible. Ok Miss Divas champ."

"I'm so happy you're here." Harley said a final time before grabbing one of the two suitcases and taking it to her car, "Come on."

They put the bags in the back seats before getting abc into their respective sides of the car. They pulled out of the airport and continued to drive down the highway. It was silent for a moment but after catching each other's eyes the two let out excited squeals.

"Ooh girl I am so excited for this week." Kai clapped, "It's been too damn long."

Harly groaned, "Too long." She agreed.

"You're on the road so much– I don't know how you do it." Kaia shook her head.

"With stress all day everyday." Harley chuckled, "How have you been doing?"

"I'm a great girl, living life."

"And you Isaiah? How are you two doing?" The Huffman girl asked further.

"We're doing great, I am so in love. And you know I would love that for you too."

Harley rolled her eyes playfully, "Why is everyone starting to sound like my mother?"

"You know I don't mean it in a pushy way but I think we both know you need to focus less time on work and more on your love life." Kaia poked her side teasingly.
