FS #1: Deine Leviste

Chapter 5

AKALA NI DEINE AY maghapon sila sa bangin pero akala niya lang iyon dahil may biglang tumawag kay Klyde at sa pagkakarinig niya, may bumalik daw na kaibigan nila na nawawala last week at puno raw ito ng pasa kaya kailangan nito ng tutulong habang hindi pa makagalaw-galaw.

Ayaw pa sanang putulin ni Klyde ang picnic nila pero pansin naman niya sa mukha nito ang pag-aalala kaya siya na ang nagsabing magtungo ito sa kaibigan.

Ibinaba lang siya ni Klyde sa labas ng bahay nito at nagpaalam bago mabilis na umalis gamit pa rin ang bike nito.

Naiiling na pumasok si Deine sa kabahayan bitbit ang box pero napatigil siya sa paglalakad nang may maaninag na bulto sa second floor kaya maingat at tahimik niyang binaba ang box sa floor at bago pa siya makaakyat sa taas ay may isang babaeng nakangisi na tumingin sa kaniya mula sa taas.

“So serious,” komento ng babae kaya nanlaki ang mata niya nang makita kung sino ito.

“Cresentia!” masayang sigaw niya at dali-daling umakyat sa taas. Sinalubong naman siya nito ng yakap habang natatawa.

“I told you to never call me by my full name, it's too cringe! Anyways, I just saw you in a bike with a handsome man, baby, why?” tanong ng kaibigan sa kaniya matapos siya nitong yakapin.

“He kidnapped me when I was in the hospital,” sagot ni Deine at giniya ang kaibigan sa loob ng guest room kung saan siya natutulog at pinaupo sa kama.

“And? You're one of the strongest women in the organization, baby, don't tell me you got kidnapped just like that! That's not 201!”

Natawa siya sa tinuran ng kaibigan. “Well, I want to leave this village but I made an agreement with him already so, just be obedient while I'm at it.”

“Even with agreements or contract, you never care even if you breach it, that's the Deine I know so, tell me, have you fallen for him and become so whipped?”

Fallen for him? But they're just together for a short time! Maybe not, maybe this is just infatuation, yes.

“Hello?”

Napatingin siya sa kaibigan. “Stop making me as a topic, how about you? How did you enter in this protected village?”

“Well, I'm badass so, I have my ways.”

Napailing siya at tahimik na sumang-ayon. If she is strong, then her friend is the strongest so it shouldn't be a surprise to know that her friend have her ways to get inside without being seen.

And the organization will never let her friend wander around in this village without an important reason, right?

Kaagad siyang napatingin sa kaibigan. “You are not here to get me out of the village, are you? Because I'm really not going out with you.”

“I really am here to get you out of here, organization order,” seryosong sabi ng kaibigan bago ngumisi. “But I've seen how you wanted to stay here so, I'm not going to force you. I'm just here to warn you to be careful because the organization might send people to kill the people around you, anytime and that includes that man.” Napabuntong-hininga siya dahil alam niyang nagsisimula na rin ang organisasyon mapalabas lang siya sa kinaruruonan niya.

Tumango siya sa kaibigan. “I will. Pero, hindi ka ba mapaparusahan sa hindi mo pagsunod sa utos? If you are, then I will never forgive myself if something happened to you, you are my only friend.”

“Don't worry, baby, ako pa ba? Ako dapat ang mag-alala, you know the punishments in that organization, are you sure you are willing to get killed just to be with that man for 1 month?”

“I'm really sure. Ngayon lang ako nakaramdam ng ganitong saya at ayaw kong mawala 'yon. Even if it is only a month, I'm willing to trade my life just to taste that happiness.”
