"I don't care what you do just make him talk, he has to know something it's been a week" I harshly spoke down the phone and cut it.

We found one of the Russian mafias spies crawling around one of our shipments. We caught him but he hasn't said a word since we locked him up. I admire his loyalty but now he's pissing me off.
The door slams open and in walks Matteo, my youngest. He's about to open his mouth when I give him a sharp look and he retreats his steps and walks back out the door. Two seconds later I hear a knock, "come in" he waltz's back in. "What is it Matteo?"

"Okay so you can't get mad at me because it wasn't entirely my fault, I was just an innocent bystander in all this if I'm being honest-" I sighed "get to the point".

He sucked in a harsh breath, "there's a scratch of Carlo's car", he goes silent after that so I speak up "you know he's going to flip out once he sees it, that car means everything to him" he lets out a stressed out sigh "I know but I didn't mean to do it-".

"So you did do it?, innocent bystander my ass" I whispered the last part. "Can you help me?" My gaze snaps up to meet his pleading eyes, "me? Help you?, I'm sorry Teo but you did this so you'll have to fix it" he looks at me in disbelief, "but I'm your child, your youngest son. You know he'll kill me. Do you really want to lose your favourite child?" He pleads.

I give him an amused look, "then you better hurry up and fix it, he'll be home by 4:00" he looks down at his watch "it's 3:32" he rushes out the door.

Not long after Matteo left my phone rings but this time it's Leo, my eldest son.

"Hello Leo" I answer
'hello papa, we have a problem at the companies safe house',
"What do you mean? What's happened?"
'The files which had all our plans and layouts in is gone'
"Gone? It's impossible to get into"
'I don't know papa but whoever did it, did a pretty good job, everything's just been wiped'
"I'll be down there in 15 minutes"

With that I cut the phone and exited my office and made my way towards the front door.
Before I shut the door a loud voice boomed throughout the house followed by a high pitch scream.

"MATTEO YOU LITTLE-"

It took me 10 minutes to get there. Our driver, Harrison Parked up and I got out and made my way towards the gates.

I pressed my finger on the little button and it immediately opened the gates up. Leo was standing there when I entered. He noticed my presence and walked over, "papa" he greeted and I gave him a nod. Infront of others it is important in our line of business to act professional, though at home I make sure to give my full attention to my sons and show them as much care as possible as they are my children.

We walked to the computing system room. Two of our men who were our hackers, Alister and Roman were typing away on the system clearly trying to figure out what had happened.

"Will someone explain to me how this even occurred?"
Alister began to explain how the entire system had been wiped and they'd checked multiple times. From trying to restore them and trying to see who got rid of them since we had a facial recognition, but whoever it was covered the frame up as well as disconnected the security cameras. Smart.

This has pissed me off though since this is months of work and now it's gone down the drain.

Something caught the corner of my eyes and I walked towards it. It was a small sticky note stuck to the table, I picked it up and it read,

'Try kill me now, father'
M.R

M.R? Who the hell is that?, And what do they mean by father?.

"Papa?" I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Leo's voice. I turn around and he sees the note in my hand. He approaches me and I hand him the note.

He read over it and I could tell by his face that he was confused also. His gaze returns to mine, "father? And who the hell is M.R?" He questions.

"I don't know, but clearly this is some sort of sick game to whoever has wiped our system" I frustratingly state.
Leo nods. "Alister, you and Roman keep trying to find out whatever that can lead us to who'd have done this" they nod.

"Leo you're coming with me".

Whoever decided to mess with our plans better start counting their days.
