LUCIFER'S EYES WIDENED IN ASTONISHMENT as he beheld the necklace delicately held in her outstretched hand. The pendant, instead of a traditional gemstone, held a mirror frame intricately crafted in gold, reflecting a portion of the dim light of the room.

"What is that?" he asked, his voice barely more than a whisper, his gaze fixed upon the shimmering object before him.

Y/N's face lit up with a radiant smile, her eyes dancing with excitement. "You mentioned," she began eagerly, "that you couldn't leave your confines unless your reflection in a mirror was reflected in another mirror, right?"

Lucifer nodded slowly, a sense of anticipation building within him as he awaited her next words.

"Well," she continued, her voice filled with glee, "I wanted you to come with me! I have something I want to show you."

A flicker of wonder and curiosity danced in Lucifer's eyes as she brought the pendant before him, the reflection of his own image shimmering within it.

"I would cherish nothing more than to be in your company, my dear savior," she said, her smile brightening the room as her teeth peeked through her parted lips.

As the weight of her words settled upon him, Lucifer felt a stirring deep within him, a sensation of warmth melting the icy walls around his heart. Tears threatened to spill from his eyes, a foreign yet welcome sensation he had long thought lost to him.

Moved beyond words, Lucifer's gaze softened as he beheld Y/N, his heart swelling with a gratitude that transcended their shared existence. Tears welled in his eyes as he looked upon his own reflection within the pendant. Despite the coldness of the glass, he could feel the warmth of her presence enveloping him, filling him with a sense of belonging he had never dared to hope for.

With a newfound sense of hope coursing through him, Lucifer locked eyes with his reflection, determination burning brightly within him. Taking a deep breath, he braced himself for the momentous step he was about to take.

"Alright then," he declared, his voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions churning inside him. With his chest puffed out and his nostrils flaring in anticipation, he closed his eyes and bit down on his lip, steeling himself for what lay ahead.

"Here we go."

"YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS PLACE IS THIS HUGE?" Lucifer stated as he marveled at the grandeur of the hallway they were walking in. It was almost akin to the hallways of his old home, although the walls here were much more confined.

The necklace was safely locked around her neck, the pendant almost touching her heart. And from time to time, the tune of her heartbeat would reach him like a silent symphony.

Occasionally, whenever a maid passed them, he would hide within the mirror, reappearing as soon as he sensed their presence was gone. Meanwhile, as she gazed at the view in front of her, she wore a smile that seemed etched on her face eternally. Her heart was currently brimming with extreme happiness, and this is what she wanted to share with him—someone whose pain was similar to hers, whose dreams almost aligned with hers. She wanted him to see what her eyes could see and to feel the experiences her heart was beating for. She was beyond glee.

She chuckled at his words as the sound of her murmured footfalls continued to faintly echo against the wall. "There's something more to it, and I wanted you to see it."

Lucifer merely pressed his hand against the mirror as he watched what was transpiring in front of him, observing as they soon stopped in front of a towering double door, intricately engraved with designs. With her hand settled upon the doorknob, it only took a little effort to push the door open.

In the heart of the grand estate, nestled away from the prying eyes of the world, lay a sanctuary unlike any other. It was a room born from the depths of Y/N's imagination, a haven of enchantment and wonder where she and Lucifer could exist in perfect harmony.

The room was filled with sunlight streaming in from various windows adorned by curtains. Instead of painted walls, the walls were wide expanses of multiple mirrors, creating reflections of the room from different angles. In the middle of the room settled a bed piled high with cushions and blankets, a soft oasis of comfort in the midst of the chaos of their lives.

A gasp escaped Lucifer's lips as he beheld the sight before him. The room stood in stark contrast to the confines of his usual surroundings, a realm of beauty and tranquility that seemed to exist in direct opposition to his accustomed environment.

Books lined the shelves, their pages filled with stories of adventure and romance that they could devour with eager anticipation. The ceiling above was adorned with paintings and tapestries of the blue sky, surrounded by clouds, each one a testament to the beauty of the world beyond their confines.

And then there were the ducks—dozens of them, scattered throughout the room in various shapes and sizes, a whimsical reminder of the magic that bound them together. From rubber ducks perched atop the bookshelves to plush ducks nestled among the pillows, their presence lent an air of lightheartedness to the space.

"So, what do you think of it?" she questioned him as she walked deeper into the room.

And the moment his eyes fell on the surroundings, a twinkle of amazement etched itself on the corners of his irises. Words seemed to refuse to leave his throat as he continued to relish the magnificence of the surroundings.

"Is it to your liking?" Y/N asked, her voice filled with concern as she gazed at their reflection in the mirror before her.

"It is beautiful," he said, as he moved to the mirror, showing his image now instead of hers. Smiling at him, she followed where his gaze went to marvel.

But then his movement momentarily halted, his gaze becoming a bit distant. Noticing this, she asked him, "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing," he replied, his gaze averting to her direction, a wide smile engraved on his lips. "I was just thinking if I can fill the room with more ducks."

Y/N chuckled at his whimsicality, her heart swelling with affection for the being who had become her constant companion.

"You don't have to wonder," she said softly.

"This room is ours, and in it, we can create whatever magic we desire."
