"LOOK AT THAT VIEW." dianne was viewing the city as the moon starts rising for the night. after a long plane ride to california, the three of you finally checked in at the hotel.

"it sure is lovely," you told dianne, "but does it top the one in mexico though?"

you throw a pillow at dianne. she complained, "hey, no fair!"

you gave a sly grin and shrugged innocently. "just using my gym progress as an excuse," you said, holding up another pillow as a barrier in front of you.

dianne giggled and grabbed her own pillow, retaliating quickly. "be so for real now y/n!" she said with a wicked sparkle in her eyes.

you laughed and ducked behind the nearest bed for shelter, nearly missing dianne's pillow as it flew through the air.

you smiled and tossed the pillow away, feeling lighter and happy than you had in weeks. these silly, carefree moments with a friend helped you relieve all of your stress and anxiety.

as you and dianne sank onto the mattresses, still giggling like schoolgirls, you couldn't help but be grateful for the event that had brought you together, and as you gazed out over the city skyline, the moon casting a lovely shine on the towers, you knew you were in for an unforgettable moment.

you and dianne met angie, dianne's cousin, for brunch before the game. angie was a happy, enthusiastic woman whose contagious energy instantly heightened your feelings.

angie greeted you both warmly as you sat down in the quaint little cafe. "the woman, the myth, the legend, y/n! hi, how are you?" she exclaimed, drawing you into a tight grip.

"i can't believe i'm here with the girl that caused me to be here in the first place. it's great to meet you too, angie," you said, smiling as you returned her hug.

as you ate breakfast together, the discussion flowed easily, filled with laughter and excitement for the day ahead. and as you finished your supper and made your way to the stadium, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected friendship that had brought you here—to this moment, to this city, and to the person you adored beyond all else.

the excitement was apparent as you walked to the stadium with dianne and angie. the streets were alive with the enthusiasm of the spectators, all marching in the same direction, anxious for the game to begin.

"are you excited for the game?" dianne asked you.

"very, i'm so ready to see his reaction after the game." you smiled.

"i still can't believe you're dating him, it feels very surreal, especially to my niece. she was very heartbroken when she saw you two together for the first time."

you laughed at the mention of angie's niece, "aw, that's so funny but also very dedicating. you should send me the videos of you have them."

"yes! just give me your phone number and i'll send them later."

as you approached the stadium, the sound of the crowd grew louder, and the anticipation grew more with each step. the stadium loomed ahead, an impressive building against the backdrop of the los angeles skyline.

once inside, you made your way to your seats, your excitement building. the stadium was already brimming with bustle, with people packing the seats and the air thick with expectancy.

dianne muttered to you and angie, "there better not be a fight this time."

angie chuckled, "oh sweetie, it's not a mexico game if there isn't a fight breaking out in the crowds."
