Abhimanyu saw Neil's expression and whacked his head gently.
"Itna mat soch. Mujhe khud nahi samajh mein aa raha hain ki main kaisa react karoon. I am just reacting on impulse. I don't have a plan Neil." Abhimanyu confessed.
Neil looked at him with shock return all over his face. What was his Bhaiyya saying? How can this happen?
He always knew how to set things right and set him straight. What has changed? He was worried about hurting his brother too much. He didn't want him retracting and going back into the shell.
"Bhai! Kya bol rahe ho aap? Aapko jaisa bhi react karna hain karo. Main bilkul nahi bhagunga. Are sulk bhi nahi karunga. Whine nahi karunga. Aapke dil mein jo aye woh karo mere saath.
Maine daradiya aapko. Mujhe pata hain. Aap chaho toh..... mujhe maar maar ke apna dar nikaldo. Per aisa mat bolo.
Aapko nahi samajh mein ayega ki meri harqat pe kaise react karna hain aur mere saath kya karna hain toh main kahan jaunga Bhai? Don't do this please"
Neil literally begged Abhimanyu who pulled him into a tight hug. He held on for some time. Abhimanyu eventually pulled back and looked at Neil with a lot of pain in his eyes,
"Kya tha woh Neil? Tu jaanta hain ki tu jab gusse mein ghar se nikal jaata hain toh mera kya haal hota hain? Mere dimag mein kya kya khayal aate hain? Jaanta hain na tu?
Agar gussa tha toh mujhse ladta na. Kabhi roka hain tujhe ladne se? Itni freedom nahi hain kya tere paas ki tu apni frustration mere saamne.....ya mere pe nikalein?
Pehli baar toh nahi hain na ki tu aisa karega. Jab humare beech mein thodi si distance bhi thi, tab bhi toh tu mere hi paas aake apna gussa aur frustration vent karta tha na.
Ab ulta cheezein better ho rahi hain toh tu kyun bhaga?
Mujhse kyun bhaga Bacha? Itna bu..." Neil didn't let Abhimanyu finish.
"Aap please mat karo complete." Neil requested.
"Nahin ho aap bura. Bura main hoon jo baar baar aapko hurt kardeta hoon.
Aap sahi bol rahe ho. Maine hamesha aapse apni frustration share ki aur aap hi ki help li to feel better.
Hamari baat chodkar duniya bhar ki baatein mein aap hi se toh bolta tha." He responded.
"Toh phir kya alag hua hain aaj Neil? Bol na Bacha." Abhimanyu coaxed.
He understood why Neil did what he did. He was irresponsible but he wasn't in his senses then and he let his emotions overpower him.
What he did is unacceptable, and he will tell him that but Abhimanyu wanted to address the main issue first. The one which earned Neil those whacks.
Abhimanyu wasn't okay with Neil trying to be an escapist.
If not tended to on time, that can become a habit and that may lead to horrible outcomes. He was a living example for that.
