"Tara! Who is she Arjun? Who the fuck is she?" Keerthana yelled again
Arjun for a minute looked at the paper and her face! She was beaming in angry, her nose flushed in redness while her siren eyes looked blood shot red.
Suddenly he started laughing! Laughing so hard , all his previous angry flew right away and he looked genuinely relieved, that it made Keerthana even more angry.
She walked towards him and held his tee shirt in a fist.
"Dare you laugh Arjun! I wouldn't mind killing you this instant and hiding your body in our garage " she whispered against his lips.
"WHO.IS.TARA?" she asked gritting her teeth and looking at his eyes
"It's you!" He simply said while the grip in her tee shirt tightened
"Don't bluff around Arjun! Give me the answers I deserve " she asked, Arjun slowly removed her hands from his tee shirt and kissed her knuckles softly.
"I will! But before that can you tell me what is your problem excluding this tara issue " he asked
"No! I- I just found this paper in your wallet 6 years back! When we were not dating , I heard you had a traumatic break up from Ashok and that time i- i started having feelings for you and when i saw this i could not help but end things in-between us later when talks of our wedding came I took a step back just for this! I did not know anything about your past and when i called Aditi she said there was no tara in your life which boosted my guts and then i married you" Keerthana said
"But...but every-time you look at me and my tattoo, every-time you kiss at it, every time you smile at it i feel myself dying painfully yet slowly " she finished
Arjun let out a breath and watched her .
"Aditi seems like she does not know ! There indeed was a tara in my life" he said , Keerthana felt slowly the ground under her feet swiped away
"And that tara was you! Its your Keerthana your my tara" he said and she looked at her tired, confused and teary
He hugged her to his chest and kissed her head .
" the first time i saw you was not in the college but much before that! I had no idea who you were, i did not know Aravind back then but the only thing i know about you was Tara! The tattoo on your collar bone . I genuinely thought you're one of the weird people who tattooed their own name . I saw you once again in a mall along with Aditi and Riya , laughing like you own the world! I swear to the god lord . My heart skipped a beat . I had a crush on you but as hearsay passed and i never saw you again it slowly disappeared and that paper you saw in my wallet was written during that time" Arjun said
"But ! The break up? You..you hated me you did it know " Keerthana said almost Turing into a child in his arms crying like a baby
"I did date a woman called maya but then we had a break up but it wasn't traumatic or something but i did stopped talking to people and isolated myself cause...Your thoughts were creeping back to my brain again" he said and Keerthana kept her silence
"Hate? I did ! I hated you for always running in my brain , hated you for being so mysterious , hated you for being so precious " he added while she softly sobbed on his chest
"When i saw you back in my campus i was surprised, shocked and most importantly when you were none other than my best friend's sister. You were so close yet i so far but then things changed when you started hating me i could not have any other option but hate you to. That day when i messed that teacher thing i hated myself to death.and damn that kiss it brought my soul back to me which i never knew it left" he finished
"I- i am so so sorry! I - i did not know these! I had no idea i was - idk" Keerthana blabbered
"Shh! It's okay i understand but.. but you really did question my loyalty ?" He asked
"Arjun i am sorry! I was stupid i questioned your loyalty all the while you have been loyal to me . I- i am sorry " Keerthana said
"No Keerthana! It is that i do understand our entire situation but the remarks and assumptions about me is driving me s..sad just sad" he said slowly releasing her from his embrace
"Arjun! Am sorry ! Please please " she begged for the first time
"Please understand now that what your idea of keeping everything to yourself does! Speak up Keerthana! If you don't like anything tell it , if you have something in your brain tell it out clear it " Arjun said and she nodded looking at him . Her eyes showing a tons of emotions
"And Noooo darling! I will never leave you! I can't imagine a Arjun without a Keerthana but then i do need some time until then let's keep our distance " he said kissing her eyes and left her alone in the hall and walked out through the door
