Areum was peacefully sleeping . Suddenly , she felt a gentle touch , as if someone was caressing her hair . Slowly , she opened her eyes, and to her suprise , she saw Minho beside her .

' you're back . ' she murmured in a sleepy tone . ' i miss you so much , minho '

Minho chuckled . Then , he pecked her forehead . ' me too , princess '

She smiled slightly and scooted closer to Minho, wrapping her arm around his shoulder and snuggling her head against his neck.

' princess ? '
she just hummed in response .
' why are you stare at me like that ? ' minho giggles .
' im afraid . '
' afraid ? '
' afraid of losing you ... '

She looked down , a tear escaped her eyes .
Minho keep caressing her hair .
' hey , princess . Im not leaving you . I will come back to you again , dont worry '
' huh ? what do you mean ? '
' lets just sleep okay ? '
' min- '

...

The sound of the alarm jolted her awake from her sleep. She quickly sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes and trying to shake off the grogginess. The sudden noise had startled her, she immediately turn off the alarm .
As she turned off the alarm, her mind was still foggy from sleep. But then, in a sudden rush, she remembered the dream she had about Minho. Without hesitation , she stood up and went to search Minho . She even called out his name . Sadly , there's no responsed . She sighed and sat on the nearest couch .

' stupid . Its just a dream . Why are you hoping he will come back , Areum-ah ? He is in jail . How can he will free from the jail ? '

Areum just got back from work, tired and ready to relax. But as she approached her house, she couldn't help but notice something strange. There, right in front of her door, were not one, but two pairs of shoes. Her heart started racing as she wondered who could be inside her house. She somehow felt familiar with these shoes . She immediately went inside her house .

As she stepped inside, she couldn't believe her eyes. Her stepdad was just casually chilling on the sofa, with his assistant standing right beside him. Areum felt her blood start to boil, but she knew she had to remain calm and patient, even in the face of her stepdad's rude behavior.

' what are you doing here ? '
' oh , my daughter . Sit first . '
' you act like this is your own house . '
' of course . Soon I will take it and sell '
' not again , byungwoo . Why are you coming here ? To persuade me marrying that LeeCorp CEO so you've got a big amount of money ? Just like how you did to my mo- '

He tossed the letter onto the table, and as it landed, the image burst forth from it. Areum paused mid-sentence, captivated by the pictures. She saw one where she was at the police station, surrounded by a group of reporters. In the next photos , she was running, hand in hand with a guy with red hair . She looked at byungwoo .

' look what you've done, Miss Areum. You've tarnished my reputation. Now, I won't hesitate to marry Felix the day after tomorrow. '

Areum couldn't help but laugh, which left Byungwoo and his assistant perplexed, their brows furrowed in confusion. She took out a file from her bag and showed them the evidence where her step dad as a dangerous gangster who not only killed people but also ran a club for illicit activities . She even had a picture of him and Yoona making out in the club. Also , a photo where both of them beat Areum in his own office . Byungwoo's face turned pale, filled with fear that his assistant would expose the truth to the public.

' w-where di- '
' why ? Are you that scared ? ' she chuckled . Then, she continue .
' I knew it from the start Byungwoo-ya oh should I call you just Doyoung ? The real dangerous gangster in the world ? '

Byungwoo clench his fist , wanted to kill her so bad .
' You know what , actually that b*tch never loves you .  She cheated . Look at here . '
Areum showed another photos of Yoona flirting with another guy which happened to be hyunjin .

'  See ? I told ya . She just wanted your own money . Cant you see ? How can that b*tch will loves an old guy like you ? Pathetic . Now , leave . Before I expose it to the public . Oh one more thing , cancel everything on what you collaborated on the project with LeeCorp company.  Mr. Yoo , please make sure he cancel it . Got it ? '

' yes , miss Kim '
' good . Now , leave . '
' Just wait and see , Areum . '
' LEAVE '
' OKAY FINE '

Once they left, she could hardly breathe. She quickly went to the kitchen and drank a glass of water. She had been so nervous earlier.

' its all good ? '

Areum turned to the person who leaning his back on the wall .

' yeah . J-just kinda nervous . '

He chuckled and went to Areum . He patted her head .

' you did good earlier . Dont worry . '
' Thank you , hyunjin . If you weren't here , helping me . I dont know if I can make it . '

Hyunjin smiled . He suddenly walked towards the door , hands in his pockets .

' where are you going ? '
' i need to go now . See you . If anything happens , just call me . '
' wait , actually I wanna ask . If you were okay , that Im staying with felix ? Listen , I just scared that byungwoo will coming back and killed me . '

He just chuckled .
' why wont I mad , Areum-ah ? It's better for you to go hide . Its not safe here and be careful '
' okay ! Bye , hyun '

With that , she left to her room .

Changbin asked Minho who is sitting in front of him . They are clearly in the investigation room .

' I wont tell you . '
' GOD DAMN IT ! ITS JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION . WHY CANT YOU ANSWER ? '
' because if I tell you the truth , will you trust me ? '
' what's kind of nonsense did you say ? '
' you dont understand me , mr.seo changbin '
' THEN SAY IT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT MR. LEE MINHO '

' Mr.Seo ? Can you hear me ? Let's switch '
chan said on the other line . Changbin sighed and rolled his eyes before he went out .

As Chan enter the room , Minho didnt dare to look at him . He keep his head down . He knew he did something wrong to his bestfriend . Chan took a sit .

' hey , minho . Look at me . '
No responsed from minho . Chan sighed .
' if you felt sorry on what happened years ago .. I wont mad , I have forgiven you a long time ago . Now , tell me the truth . You didn't kill your own mom right ? '

' why would I ? I love her so much . '
' Then - '
' hyung , please help me . '
' what do you mean ? '
' Actually there's someone behind all of this . Someone tried to frame me from the start and they planned to kill me . That's why I came here . I need your help , hyung . Please . '
' hold up . Let me think for a while . '

Chan stood up from his seat . He was about to left the room but then minho said

' Hyung, please trust me. I have evidence, but I'm not sure if it will be helpful or not. '

Chan nodded and left .
