Leaving home was one of the hardest things to do, but I had to. I needed to keep my family safe. But I've learned a thing or two over the past couple of years, running away from your problems doesn't solve anything... they just come running back to you and I've been running for a long time.
I'm Cassandra Jackson or Cassie for short and I'm a Demigod, well now I'm Daisy Rae... at least that's what everyone calls me here at Camp Half-blood.
Demigod meaning half-god... Yes, my mother is mortal while my father is a god... which god you might ask, well I'd like to know that too. But I do have some idea who he is. My little brother Percy is also a Demigod, he would be about twelve years old now.

I sit at the edge of the rocks, looking out at the water, it relaxes me, I feel at home by the water. I close my eyes and I'm on a beach, my mother's cabin in Montauk to be exact, she used to take me and my brother when we were younger. I haven't been there since I ran away, thus why my name is Daisy, I had to change it, well, I could have kept it but I just needed to.
It was dark and stormy, I saw a figure on the beach making me frown.
"Hello?"
The figure turned around and it was a boy who looked so familiar "Hello?" He said and I walked closer, the boys features became more noticeable. His Curly brownish hair stood out, Percy, he looked so much older, I almost forgot what he looked like.
"Percy?"
He looked confused, he didn't recognize me either "Who are you?" There was a big loud clapping of Thunder that interrupted me as I was about to tell him who I was then there was a whisper.
"Who are you? So weak. So scared. So sad. Run away, little hero, before you get hurt."
I turned to Percy but next thing I knew I was back on the rock at camp... but the thing is, it was now windy and raining.
"Daisy!"
I jumped up from my spot and screamed turning to see Luke and Chris "Ahh!" I sighed in relief then looked up at them "What are you guys doing here?" I asked and they looked at each other. "Chiron said there's something you need to see." Luke said and I frowned "What? What is it?" I asked looking between them, they told me about a minotaur being outside of the border.
They brought me outside the border where Annabeth was and she and some other campers were standing around something or someone.
"Is he okay?"
"Alone?"
"How is that possible?"
"He must be the one." Annabeth said and I frowned "Who?" I asked and the campers moved away so I can see who they were talking about, I couldn't believe my eyes. Chiron came and everyone moved away so he could see.
