Third pov :
It was lunch time and maeves arm was hurting her like crazy
She went to the hospital and Sakura was having a look at it
"Well Maeve your arm can't be healed" she said with a hint of sadness in her eyes
"What do you mean ? , it has to heal , I can't even move it to make signs " Maeve said
"Medical ninjutsu can help this time , but something else can " Sakura said
"Well ... what is it ?"
"Take your arm as a poisonous muscle , to cure it there is a cure and that's a flower from the mountin myaboku "
Sakura said
"Well I'll get it then" Maeve said
"You can't, I'll ask naruto to send someone for you , cuz your temperature is going to rise like crazy in about 10 hours " Sakura says
"That is plenty of time for me to go and get that flower ,please do not alert the hokage " Maeve says
"You really think you can do this then?"
"Yes "
"If ten hours pass , I'm sending someone"
"Ok "
It was nighttime now and 8 and a half hours have passed
Sakura was at home with sarada
"It's taking too long " she said looking at the clock
"What is ?" Sarada asks
"Well a jonin who was with you on the trip was bitten by a shark and the only cure is a flower from the mountin myaboku, she went to get it herself , but in less than 30 minutes she will pass out "
"Wait what ? What was her name " Sarada asks
"Maeve mikage " Sakura says
"I'll go to naruto to have him send someone for her"
"No no , her bite was borutos fault , I'll get him and we'll go to her " Sarada says
"Are you sure ?"
"Yes , it's our fault this happend to her"
Time skip 10 minutes
"Boruto , we have to go " Sarada says when she sees him at thunder burger with shikadai
"What do you mean ?" He asks confused
"Remember the shark thingy that bit Maeve, it has made her arm numb and the only cure is a flower from mountin myaboku and she's going there but in about 10 minutes she's going to faint "
Sarada explains
"Ohh man I totally forgot about her bite , we have to go now " he says
"Wait she got bitten?" Shikadai says
"Lest go now " Sarada says and they all go
Meanwhile with Maeve
While going to the mountin a group of rough ninjas spottet her and went to attack her
"Well Well what do we have here " he says then his eyes fall on her bloody arm " That's a nasty wound there sweetheart "
"Oh really ,you don't say " she says with sarcasm
"Give us what you have and we'll kill you fast" he says
"As if " she says and pulls her wepon with one hand
They go to attack her
"Wind style air prison " she yells and all the air in they're lungs gets taken out and they all fall unconscious
She continues her journey but her time was up and she fainted
Boruto shikadai and Sarada came across the mens and figured out she would be nearby and they found her
"Maeve " shikadai says and goes to her putting her head on his lap
" You guys go find the flower I'll stay with her " they both leave
After 20 second Maeve opens her eyes
"Hey are you ok?" He asks with concern in his voice
"Hey pretty boy" she says then coughes a little
"Relax , don't strain yourself " he says
"I need to get up , the flower ..." she says and moving to sit
"Boruto and sarada are going to get that now lay down " he says and makes her do it
"You have very pretty eyes " she says looking at him from his lap
"Thanks , you've already said that they're like my mother's " he says and turns to hide his blush
"No , they suit your features like a charm , pretty boy" she says
"So do you have a boyfriend waiting for you home " he asks
"Why, do you want to ask me out on a date ?" She teases and gets up
"Would you go with me on one if I said so " he asks back
She couldn't keep herself up so she leans on a tree nearby
"If you got this tall ,then yes " she says putting her hand up her head
"So you like older guys then?" He asks
"No , age doesn't matter to me , I just want them to do ...." she says and pulls shikadai by his arm and pins him to the tree
"...this " she says
And boy was he red
"You know I read a lot of romance and this is one of my favorite parts , when the man pins the women to a wall or something and then..." she starts to lean in and shikadai expecting a kiss closes his eyes
"But you'll have to grow up to do that to me " she says and then kisses his cheek
He opens his eyes and touches his cheek when Maeve head falls on his shoulder
"Catch me shikadai " she says and her body goes numb
"Well this is awkward" boruto says
"I-its not what it looks like , her fewer got the best of her and she didn't know what she was doing " he tries to explain with a deep blush on his face
"Let's get back now , she needs to have her arm treated " Sarada says
"Right " shikadai says and then holds her bride-style in his arm
"Dont you want any help there pretty boy" boruto teases him
"No she's not heavy at all" shikadai blushes and says
They got her back, her arm was treated And now she was in bed-rest for a week
