"Un-be-lievable " Maeve says while sitting in the senju park stool with Mirai
"Yeahhh it's going to be a pain to take care of them " Mirai says
"It was my off week and now it's not , can you believe that they used the excuse that I can take this Mission as holiday , who does that?" She asks yelling
"Well the hokage did , sooo you have no choice " Mirai says smiling a bit
"You know my mission is to escorts lord sixth and guy sensei to the hot springs out of the village "
"You willing to trade? " Maeve asks her
"Nope"
"Then keep quiet please " Maeve says putting her book on her face
Meanwhile a certain someone was listening in to their conversation thinking they wouldn't find out
"10 points for the effort but you got to be better than that " Maeve says in shikadais ear making him jump and then blush a little
"H-how did you..." he started
"Oh nevermind" he says remembering she's a jonin
"Shikadai , what are you doing here ?" Mirai asks
"My dad said he wanted to talk to you , he's at the house " shikadai says looking at her then at Maeve who walks at bench and sits with the book in her face
"Oh is that so , okay then " Mirai says and goes to leave when she sees shikadai still isn't moving but looking at Maeve "Well you can come later then " she says
After three minutes they're still staying in the same place
"You can have a seat you know?" She tells him not looking at him
"I was just trying your method about knowing who people are " he says
"Well you're not gonna figure it out love , Noone can " she says using a nickname different from the one she usually uses and that makes shikadai blush a lot
"Why not?" he asks
"Is it that well hidden?"
"You're smart, I can tell , but I can trick people in words " she says feeling him sit near her
"I was an anbu for two years you know"
"Really? " He asks really surprised by this
"Yes , but I left I didn't like the way they worked , torturing people for info , having to stay hidden , not for me " she says
"I've heard about the anbu and all their ways but I didn't think it would be like this , it must have been a horrible experience " he says
"Yeah well it wa..., you're good but not that good love , trying to learn more from me by getting me to talk " she says realizing what he was doing
"Oh well , I guess I tried it " he says
But still he doesn't want to leave
And Maeve doesn't want to leave either
So they stayed for 10 minutes in silence
" Well I'll see you tomorrow then love " she says and shikadai blushes again
