'HOMEWRECKER' 'SLUT!!' 'WHORE' 'FAT ASS BITCH' 'HOE!!' I stare at my locker, spray painted written on, pasted on with words. Like how I was a homewrecker by being Elijah's other woman.
I roll my eyes, ripping it off of my locker. Astrid and harlowe stare at me with pity. "Summer.. it's fine, we'll get through this."
"Eventually." I say making them groan. "You know you won't look at the bright side summer!! Look, Kane seems to be coming back to you!!" Astrid exclaims.
"I don't care if he comes back to me. He's not the boy I love..." I mumble looking down.
They exchange looks with each other before harlowe speaks up. "Summer Kristen Hills. You are an independent woman, who is not getting played by a fuckboy. Okay?"
I nod my head burying it in my hands. "I can't move on with him." I grumble groaning.
"Hey, babe." A manly voice speaks up. I look up to see ace, and his whole friend group.
Yup.. even Elijah.
I groan looking away. "It's fine summer," Harlowe whispers to me, as I sigh at her. "Hey, you guys wanna sleep over at my house?" Ace asks.
All the guys agree including Astrid, but harlowe checks on me first. "Babe, I don't know if I could come.."
Ace whines. "Why?" Harlowe sighs replying, "I can come if summer is comfortable to be there with.. you know who.."
Ace nods. "Yo summer, it's fine. Elijah won't hurt you." I freeze at him. Harlowe glares at ace.
"You dumbass motherfucker!!" Harlowe whisper shouts to him making him grimace.
"My bad.. I mean come on, it's gonna be fun." I look at harlowe and slowly nod. "Fine.. I'll come.. I guess."
Ace cheers. "Are you sure about this summer?" Harlowe questions with concern in her voice.
I nod at her. "I'm gonna be okay, harls." She smiles at me. I look to my side, only to lock eyes with Elijah.
He was looking at me with his tongue poking the inside of his cheek. I quickly look away, my heart beating rapidly fast.
"Come on, let's get to class."
