YASMINE ROSE
Present Day.

"22 year old Marcus Hampton shot infront of his girlfriend Justine Vark, the woman said..."

"Oh my God..." Yasmine said to herself.

She was just talking to him last night about an important event.

Yasmine couldn't believe what she was saying or even hearing. She took out her blunt and smoked it all night long trying to comprehend how this happened.

She got up from the couch, and saw the boy Kas leaning on the counter.

"Bro what fuck is wrong witchu poppin up and shit, you be scarin me." Yasmine said, she accidentally jumped.

"Sorry mama."

"It's okay, whatchu doin here anyway?"

"I miss you."

"Kas, what?"

"I miss you mama." He said coming closer to her.

He smiled looking down at her and kissed her forehead. Yasmine tried not to blush.

"Boy pleaseee, how you be gettin in my house."

"Don't worry bout it."

Kas grabbed Yasmine's chin kissing her lips, and going down to her neck.

"When you goin back to work?"

"Tonight, actually, and I need to go get ready."

"Why, why tonight?" He asked.

Yasmine shrugged and headed into her room, the boy followed her and sat on her bed.

"Are you going to stay here..?" She asked.

"I was, but you goin to work, just wanted to spend the night witchu."

"Oh."

She walked into her bathroom doing her stuff and put on her work uniform.

"You know, you can't stay tonight, I'm coming back in the morning."

"Mmmm."

Kas got up looking down at Yasmine and gave her a kiss. Yasmine could tell she was starting to catch feelings for this boy.

"You ever check yo cashapp?" He asked.

"No why?"

"Check that shit."

Yasmine grabbed her phone out her pocket and saw there was $4,000 as her balance.

"You be giving me all this shittt?" She asked.

He nodded his head and smiled, seeing his braces again.

"Wait..."

"What?" He asked.

"Smile again."

Kas did an awkward smile. "Awww, you look so cute."

Yasmine kissed him on the lip again, forgetting all about that Marcus situation.

Yasmine turned her lights off heading towards the door and locking it.

Leah got out of a car, and headed towards Kas and Yasmine.

"Yasssy." Leah said.

"Hey girl. Watchu doin here? It's 11."

"About that..."

"What happened.. Leah?"

"My mom, she kicked me out."

Yasmine slapped her face softly.

"Girl watchu you do now?"

"She got me doin some stuff in her house soo uhm."

"Thats why you got all them bags in yo hands?"

She nodded her head.

"Who that?" Leah asked.

Yasmine turned around and saw Kas on his phone playing with his dreads.

"My neighbor." She lied again.

"Ooooh, yo neighbor kinda fineee."

"Girl come on inside, I need to go to work."

Yasmine and the both of them headed inside the house, she told Leah she could sleep in the guest room for now.

"Thank youu." Leah said.

"Of course girl."

Yasmine walked out the house again with Kas following her.

"Why you let her stay?" He asked.

"Kas, she's my best friend and she needa place to stay. I'll get her out when she has everything ready and I'll help her."

"Ain't no way you a fuckin investigator, and yo ass this delusional."

"What?" She asked.

"Nothin, you gon be late."

He opened the door for her but as soon as she can get in Kas pulled her waist kissing her one more time.

"I love you mama." He said.

Yasmine smiled, but didn't say I love you back.

"You ain't even gonna say it back?"

"Uhhh, I gotta go fr." She said.

"Nah say it back Yasmine, ian playin."

"I need to go or ima be late for work."

Kas grabbed her neck, Yasmine tried to hold eye contact but she couldn't.

"Say it back mama."

"Kas, I need to go fr, and you're hurting me."

Yasmine looked up at him and saw he started to smile, she couldn't breathe since Kas was choking her too hard.

"K. Kas."

He stopped smiling and let go, of her, Yasmine started to cough a little, as he walked away she got into her quickly coughing even more. She almost passed out.
