So our faultless Romeo waited and waited,
Longing for a dreadful piece of news for him,
And eventually, he grew frustrated,
And he tried to take decisions on a whim.
[Enter Friar Lawrence]
Friar Lawrence (Jay): You took some of my weed, kid?
Romeo (Hyunjin): Why do you always suspect it’s me!
Friar Lawrence (Jay): It’s kinda obvious, though. You’re always high.
Romeo (Hyunjin): High on love!
Friar Lawrence (Jay): Or on weed, who knows?
[Enter The Nurse]
The Nurse (Chan): Where’s the brat? Where is he?
Romeo (Hyunjin): I’m literally standing two feet away.
The Nurse (Chan): Ah, yeah. Juliet still loves you, so don’t fret over it.
Romeo (Hyunjin): (baffled) How did you know I was gonna ask that?
The Nurse (Chan): I’m smart, unlike you guys.
Romeo (Hyunjin): Okay, jeez.
Friar Lawrence (Jay): (dazed) Aight, so I have a plan. And don’t ask how I got it.
[Romeo and The Nurse look behind Friar Lawrence to see weed on the table]
The Nurse (Chan): Seen too much, not asking.
Friar Lawrence (Jay): So Romeo can sneak up to Juliet’s room tonight, do the salsa, and then leave Verona before the crack of dawn. He can run away to Mantua, the neighboring town, until the news of their marriage can be spread.
Romeo (Hyunjin): Damn, what was in that weed?
The Nurse (Chan): Cool. Now come along, brat.
