"Happy Birthday, Ethan." I smiled to him. He's wearing a black long sleeve polo and gray slacks. He's so simple, pero malakas 'yung dating niya. Napatingin ako sa brand ng belt na suot niya. A Christian Dior Belt. Napatagal 'yung tingin ko ron.

"Zoey, hey," He called me. "Where are you looking?"

Agad ako nag angat ng tingin sa kaniya. "Happy Birthday, Ethan!" Ulit ko. Naramdaman ko 'yung pag init ng pisngi ko. Bwisit, Zoey!

Nagpasalamat ulit siya. He toured me outside the venue and I tried my best to stop capturing the scenery dahil nahihiya akong kumuha ng litrato habang nagpapaliwanag si Ethan. Ethan made the best decision for choosing this place. "Don't drink too much tonight." He warned me. Tumango ako at matipid na ngumiti.

"Sorry, my gift for you is inside." Humarap ako sakaniya. Dahil sa lakas ng hangin ay nagulo 'yung collar ng longsleeve niya kaya inayos ko 'yon.

I saw him froze up for a moment. "Sorry, inayos ko lang."

"Thank you. And about the gift..." He stopped. "You can give it to me later."

Napalingon ako kay Celine na may dalang baso, nako! Huling-huli agad ako ni Ethan.

"Happy Birthday, Ethan. Thank you for having us!" Binigay sa akin ni Celine 'yung drinks. Naramdaman ko agad 'yung pagtingin sa akin ni Ethan nung tinanggap ko 'yung drinks.

"Thank you, Celine." Ngumiti si Ethan. Nag-eexpect ako na halikan niya si Celine sa pisngi dahil 'yun 'yung common things sa mga sosyal! But he didn't. Nagtaka tuloy ako pero hindi ko na lang inisip.

Ethan left to greet his guests. I saw a girl keeps on talking to Ethan. "Kalma mo 'yung puso mo." Siniko ako ni Celine.

"Huh? Nakatingin ako sa pool." I lied.

"Heh? Neketengen eke se peel!" Pag gaya niya.

We sang a happy birthday song to Ethan. And since we're sitting at the VIP table, malapit kami sa stage.

"Thank you for coming." He said to everyone. "Thank you for trying your best to come." My heart beat fast when he looked at me.

Since it's his birthday, a lot of his guests are talking to him, taking a picture with him, finding him, and more. Nang makarami ako ng nakain ay nanatili muna ako sa table habang si Celine ay nagde-dessert na. I checked my phone and Fria told us that she's on her way. Hindi ko rin alam bakit late siya eh hind naman nale-late 'yon lalo na sa party.

I took a picture of the view outside and tried to take a selfie but it's hard because of the wind. And a stranger approached me. He's wearing a Gucci shirt and slacks. "You want me to hold it for you?" He placed his glass somewhere.

"It's okay..." Binaba ko 'yung phone ko but he got it from me.

"Now, smile." He smiled while holding my phone. Napilitan akong ngumiti.

"I'm good, thank you." Kinuha ko 'yung phone sa kamay niya.

"You're gorgeous. Are you one of Ethan's friends?" Lumapit siya sa akin. Why do I felt like he's creepy?

"George." I heard a manly voice behind me.

"Oh, birthday boy... I didn't know that you have a pretty guest." Tumingin siya sa akin at akmang hahawakan 'yung buhok ko pero umiwas ako papunta kay Ethan. "Is she a model?" He asked Ethan.

"Let's go inside, Zoey." Ethan held my waist gently after calling someone from his phone.

"Who is him?" I asked Ethan when we entered the party inside.
