The early morning light filtered through the windows of the house as Ritsu roused the groggy kids from their slumber, urgency in her voice as she informed them, "Karasuma is calling all of us."

Muttering and grumbling, they dragged themselves up the stairs, still half-asleep.

"Ughh, why are we up so earlyyy?" Nakamura protested, her voice thick with sleep.

Nagisa, a bit more awake, asked, "What do you guys think we are doing?"

Maehara, concerned, added, "Whatever it is, it must be important since he called all of us."

Teraseka, his annoyance obvious, chimed in, "Didn't Chiba just come back from a mission?"Chiba, clearly tired, mumbled in agreement, "...YES."

Eventually, they all were in the computer room, where Karasuma's stern face greeted them from the screen.

"Took you long enough," he scolded, prompting Hinano to stammer in response, "W-well it's really early!!"

"You guys have been up earlier," Karasuma reminded them

Sugaya admitted, "Yea, we had to wake up pretty early to walk up the school mountain."

Kanzaki, scratching her head, added, "You have a point... But still."

. "What? You guys have to wake up early for training at the house," Karasuma questioned.

Kiara nodded in understanding, "...right."

Yoshida agreed, "Mhm."

The kids knew that they would occasionally oversleep during training days...

Karasuma then dropped the bombshell. "Anyways... I want you guys to investigate this mansion."

Sugino's eyes widened in surprise, "A mansion?"

Isogai, his curiosity piqued, questioned, "Wait, for what?"

Meg, her tone cautious, remarked, "A mansion is odd.."

Karma, stepping forward, asked the question on everyone's mind, "Are there people living in there?" He asked with a devious smile

Karasuma let out a resigned sigh. "No, there are no people living inside the mansion."

Fuwa, unable to contain her excitement, interjected, "OOOh I bet it's haunted!"

Kiara smiled at that

Muramatsu, visibly nervous, whispered, "I really hope it's not."

 "Are you scared, moronmatsu?" Itona teased

Muramatsu, offended, said, "N-no! I just think that Fuwa is being an idiot!"

Yada, rolling her eyes, chided, "Come on, don't be a baby."

Kayano, sensing the tension, shushed them all, "SHH!"

Karasuma continued, laying out the details of their mission. "I will give Ritsu the address. You will be looking for suspicious items like files or a hidden lab or something."
