This is the song I am listening to while writing this and next chapter.
I am thinking of adding songs to most chapters if not all. This song is the Vibe😚

The next day, as I tried to focus on my work, my phone rang. It was Tania calling, and despite the mixed emotions I felt, I answered the call.

"Rhea, can we meet? I need to talk to you," Tania said, her voice tinged with sincerity.

"Sure, Tania," I replied, trying to keep my tone neutral. "Let's meet at the Orange cafe below my office."

When we met at the café, I could see the worry in Tania's eyes.

She looked genuinely apologetic, and I wondered what she wanted to discuss.

"I'm so sorry, Rhea," Tania began, her voice filled with remorse. "I had no idea Arjun would react that way. He's just really protective of me, and sometimes it gets the better of him."
I nodded understandingly, not wanting to blame her for her brother's actions.

"It's okay, Tania. I understand. Emotions can run high during wedding planning."

She sighed, looking relieved that I wasn't holding a grudge against her. "I really appreciate your understanding. I want you to know that I trusted you and your team.
It's just.... Arjun can be overbearing at times."
I smiled, feeling a sense of closure in our conversation.

"Thank you, Tania. I appreciate your trust. And I wanted your wedding to be nothing short of perfect. I'll make sure Virti takes over seamlessly, and everything goes smoothly."

A week had passed since the incident at Tania's wedding, and I had thrown myself into the preparations for a corporate party.

It was a high-profile event, and I was determined to show my capabilities as a planner, despite the setback I had faced.

On the day of the event, the venue was abuzz with excitement and anticipation. I was overseeing every detail, making sure that everything was in place for a flawless evening.

As the guests started to arrive, I was laser-focused on ensuring the security measures were being followed diligently.

Just as I was deep in conversation with the security team, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Startled, I turned around to find Sumit standing there, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Boo!" he exclaimed, clearly enjoying having caught me off guard.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes, playfully swatting at him. "Sumit, you scared me! What are you doing here?"

He flashed his signature charming smile. "Well, I couldn't resist the chance to witness your magic in action. Besides, I heard this party was going to be the talk of the town!"

I chuckled, appreciating his flattery. "Well, I'm glad you could make it. Just don't distract me too much; I have alot to oversee."

As the evening progressed, I found myself immersed in my work, ensuring everything ran smoothly. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching me.

When I turned my head discreetly, my heart skipped a beat as I saw Arjun standing among the guests.

He looked handsome in a tailored suit, and his presence sent a jolt through me. I hadn't expected him to be here, and I certainly didn't know how to handle any situation where this man is involved.

Summoning my professional composure, I decided to focus on overseeing the catering arrangements. The last thing I wanted was an awkward encounter with Arjun.

I was helping the Server in stacking the plates, I couldn't help but feel his gaze on me. It was as if his presence had a magnetic pull, making it hard for me to concentrate on anything else. I went out to breathe some fresh air.

As I walked in, Sumit appeared by my side once again.

"Hey, Rhea, the dance floor looks inviting. How about taking a break and joining me for a dance?"

I smiled, but shook my head.
"Sumit, I'm not a guest here. I have work to do."

Undeterred, Sumit persisted, his eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Come on, Rhea, just one dance won't hurt. It's not like the workers will run away."

I sighed, knowing that arguing with him would be futile. And one dance won't hurt anyone.... I guess.

"Fine, but just one dance, okay? Then I have to get back to work."
He grinned, taking my hand and leading me to the dance floor.

As the music played, Sumit and I swayed to the rhythm, and I couldn't help but feel a moment of joy amidst the busy atmosphere.
As we swayed to the music, I couldn't help but feel a sense of lightness in Sumit's presence. He had a way of making even the most stressful situations feel like a breeze.

"Rhea, you know, you look absolutely stunning tonight," Sumit remarked, flashing me a charming smile.

I chuckled, shaking my head. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Sumit."

He feigned a look of hurt. "Ouch, harsh! I was just trying to lighten the mood."

I smiled, appreciating his effort. "I know, and I appreciate it.

As I danced with Sumit, I couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching me. When I subtly looked around, my heart skipped a beat as I locked eyes with Arjun standing at a distance, engaged in conversation with another guest.

But his gaze was fixated on me,
then it flickered to Sumit..err..more like his hands which was on my waist.

And there was an intensity in his expression that I couldn't ignore. He looked angry, and I couldn't help but wonder why.

What could be bothering him? I thought, trying to focus on the dance with Sumit. Maybe he's not happy to see me here, especially after what happened at Tania's wedding. But why would he be upset? he got what he wanted. It's done now a more responsible and especially my rival is overseeing the arrangements. I hope he is Not happy. The Devil Rhea in me wished this so badly.

Signing I pushed the evils thoughts aside, reminding myself that I had a job to do and couldn't let personal distractions interfere. But it was difficult to ignore the magnetic pull I felt toward Arjun.

As the song came to an end, Sumit bowed dramatically, earning a laugh from me. "Thank you for the dance, my lady. Now, back to work?"

'Ayyy Captain!!! Back to work." Dramatically saluting him
I nodded, a smile playing on my lips. And was about to make my way back to oversee when I felt a presence behind me.

Sumit looks behind me"Hey man careful-", but his was voice fades as I am dragged.

"Arjun, what are you doing?" My heart raced as Arjun's firm grip held my hand, leading me onto the dance floor.

I could sense the anger radiating from him, and I have no idea about the reason behind it and have no intention to entertain this man.
