Skyblings (Pearl and Grian)

Gem sat on her beach looking at the sea. She got actually good view from there on Grian's fishing hut.
To her surprise her neighbour wasn't on the bridge. Normally he hardly ever left it.
' maybe he finally got his mending.'

Gem decided to finish her therenforming and ask Grian later.

She do as she said.
And after few hours she finishes the shore and beach. Gem only need a few more shells but she stated that she'll just ask Grian for few form his already big collection.

"Hello! Grian?!" Gem yelled as she approached her neighbour house.
No one answered, she started looking through his base then went to his mine but there was no sign of Grian.
'weird '
She decided to ask other if they have seen him.

-Have anyone seen Grian recently?

Tango -No.. but I also have seen Pearly so maybe they went somewhere together?

GTWScar- Gem can you came to my base? I need you help.

-Maybe..
-I'll be there in a second!

Gem closed her communicator and went to Scar's.

"Scar?" Gem called when she reached the locomotive.

"Coming! " Scar yelled from inside.
She went inside.
"Meow!"Jellie welcome her.
After few minutes Scar came out of his chest monster storage.

"Hello there Gem!"

"Hi Scar. You need help?"

Scar started at her.
"Oh right!  Come with me."
He took something from his chest and left his train, with  Gem right behind.

They stopped nearly the river. A net, basket with food, few cushions and blankets were already there.

"What's all this?"
"A spot to observe the sea creatures! I see two of them this morning.
And I think they stole G , so we need to catch them."

Gem started at him with lack of words

"And also I wanted to catch mending for Grian...he's so sad and tired recently.. but I don't want him to know." Scar said quietly.

"You want me to help you catch it?"
Scar shook his head.
"No..not really? I ...Can you show me how to fishing so the fishing string won't end up in my hair again."

Gem giggled "Of course ."
She took one of the fishing rods.
"Okay so firstly --"

The sun was setting Gem was half napping and Scar didn't catch any book yet.
But he saw something moving in the water. He nudge Gem.
"What?"

"Look" Scar pointed at the water.

"What is this-?"

"Oh, the sea creatures thet stole Grian.  Quickly before they leave again." Scar
took the net and gave half of it too Gem.

"Are you crazy? What if you do something to them!?"

"Don't worry it's magical and very creatures friendly." Scar smiled.
"Now on three

One...

Two..

Three.."

There was a splash when the net .

"We got them."

Gem and Scar pull the next out but still half of it was in water.

"Scar it's just a salmon and cod."She said looking at the two little fishes in the net.
"They want you to think so."
Gem looked at him confused.

"Two are the creatures! The little merlings."Scar put the net out and released the 'fish'.
They swimm down. Then two heads pooed out of the water.
"Your face is priceless Gemi"Pearl said giggling.

Gem stood shocked?, confused?
"What? I thought... You said they stole Grian."
"Oh they do. You see this little cod man kidnapped himself."Scar smiled and reached to Grian only to be splashed with water.
"Rude."

"You broke Gem. "

"So you're both avians but  also  merlings?  "

Pearl nodded "Kinda? It's complicated? Just a watchers and listeners thing I suppose."

Gem looked at Pearl.It was weird? to see her with scales and tail
" So what exactly are you?"
"I'm a salmon!"Pearl turned round. "And G is cod just like Jimmy in empires " she pointed at her brother who was to busy taking w Scar to noticed anything else.
"So how do I look?"Pear asked curious.
Gem walked to her chest.
"Oh you look a adoorable Pearl!"
Gem said putting the dog on sand.
They giggled.
"Hey! That was my pun!"
Gem smiled and they just laughed.

I hope you liked it. I have so much fun witting this.
I actually wanted to name them seablings but it's Lizzie's and Jimmy's siblings name I decided to call Pearl and Grian fishblins.
