Soon it was morning, the soft light filtering through the curtains as your alarm clock blared. You woke up groggily, a deep groan escaping your lips as you resisted the urge to stay snuggled in your cozy, comfortable bed. The lure of warmth and tranquility was strong, making the idea of getting up seem all the more daunting. Reaching out groggily, you fumbled with the alarm clock on your nightstand until the harsh noise was silenced. With a slow, deliberate movement, you finally swung your legs over the edge of the bed, sitting up and rubbing your tired eyes. A yawn escaped you, echoing in the quiet room, as you contemplated the day ahead.

Moving through the motions of the morning, you made your way downstairs to the inviting smells wafting from the kitchen. There, you set about preparing a simple yet satisfying breakfast of scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and a refreshing glass of milk. The sizzle of the pan and the clinking of utensils mingled with the comforting sounds of morning, creating a soothing symphony that eased your mind. Seated at the table, you savored each bite of your meal, the flavors dancing on your taste buds.

Turning on the television in search of entertainment, you browsed through the channels with a hint of disappointment. A sigh escaped you as you settled on a random show, the background chatter providing a sense of company. Lost in a daze, time seemed to slip away unnoticed until the clock on the wall caught your attention. It was already mid-afternoon, and a sudden realization hit you – you had to be at the Ministry soon

After dedicating some thoughtful consideration to the situation at hand, you ultimately made the decision to commence preparing promptly to avoid any risk of tardiness. With a sense of urgency, you ascended to your room and ensured the door was securely shut behind you. Subsequently, you carefully removed the garments that had been hanging on the closet door, and proceeded to dress yourself before meticulously attending to your hair and opting to apply a touch of makeup for a polished appearance. Gathering a selection of additional attire into a bag, you meticulously organized your belongings. As the clock ticked onwards, signaling the time was approximately 4:26 PM, you retrieved the piece of paper bearing the written address, and made your way outside to where your vehicle awaited.

Engaging with modern technology, you swiftly entered the location details into your mobile device and selected the "directions to location" option displayed on the screen. Navigating the roads, you found yourself passing through a dimly lit tunnel, evoking a sense of unease in the dim surroundings. Pushing past this fleeting discomfort, you emerged on the opposite side to be met with the grandiose structure resembling a traditional church. As your device chimed with notification and vocalized the message, "You have successfully arrived at your destination," the nearing 5 PM prompted you to efficiently park your car before stepping out to approach the Ministry.

As you made your way to the front door, you couldn't help but marvel at the sheer size of the building, fully immersing yourself in a sense of awe. The thought "The ministry..." crossed your mind, hinting at the grandeur that awaited within. Upon reaching the door, you gently knocked and took a step back, anticipation bubbling as you waited for someone to answer.

After a few moments that felt like an eternity, the door swung open, revealing a welcoming figure adorned with grayish-blonde hair. A warm smile graced her face as she greeted you, recognizing you as the anticipated new recruit. "We've been waiting for you. Come in, come in!" she cheerily invited, ushering you into the ministry with a gesture.

Stepping inside, the door closing behind you with a soft click, you found yourself standing in the entranceway, struck by the grandeur and beauty surrounding you. Stunning stained glass windows adorned the walls, casting colorful patterns across the space and adding to the overall splendor of the ministry. The lady then turned towards you, her voice inviting and guiding you further into the Ministry.

"It's so lovely to have you here, I'm Sister Imperator," she warmly greeted you with a smile as she extended her hand for a shake and gently patted your back. "I know this place is vast and can be overwhelming at first, but I'm confident that you'll feel at home in no time," she said with a light chuckle, her eyes gleaming with enthusiasm for your presence.

As you both strolled through the corridors, you couldn't help but admire the intricate details of the surroundings. "It's so beautiful in here," you remarked, captivated by the grandeur of the ministry. "I'm glad you think so; our ministry is filled with hidden gems and serene spots waiting to be discovered," Sister Imperator responded, her voice filled with pride for the place she called home.

With purpose in her stride, Sister Imperator mentioned the urgency of meeting Papa. "We must make our way to him promptly; he has been eager to speak with you, given the importance of your arrival," she explained, quickening her pace as she guided you towards the next door, leading you closer to an audience with the revered Papa.

She opened the creaking wooden door in front of you with a gentle push, the hinges echoing a faint protest as it revealed a dimly lit room stretching downward into darkness. Its aura evoked a sense of unease, sending a shiver down your spine as you cautiously followed her lead. Stairs led you to the bottom where the next door awaited, its old, peeling paint hinting at years of neglect.

Turning the rusty handle, she beckoned you inside with a soft gesture, her voice carrying a hint of warmth as she murmured, "I'll see you a bit later; Papa is in here. Go on now." Her smile was reassuring, a glimmer of kindness in the eerie atmosphere, as she gracefully retreated, her footsteps fading into the distance.

The atmosphere was tinged with mystery, the air heavy with unanswered questions as you stood at the threshold, uncertainty clouding your mind. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for your next move, and as you took a tentative step forward, the shadows seemed to dance around you, whispering secrets of the past.
