Chapter 19

Sitara is staring at him intensely unable to answer his question. What else could she have to offer this man who is wealthy and has power to get what he wants in a single snap of his finger.

Samrat chuckled looking at her cute face.

" SUGAR", He called her to bring her out of the never ending turmoil going in her head.

Sitara came out of her thoughts and hummed in response.

" I asked you what I will get in return for the favour that I am doing for you ".

Samrat again repeated his question to tease his wife but the frowns formed on his wife's forehead explained how serious she has taken his teasing.

Sitara thought for some time and concluded to give him an answer which will not make him angry. She didn't want to lose the opportunity of college at any cost.

" Why should I have to give you anything. You are fulfilling your duty as a husband ".

Samrat choked on his saliva listening to her answer. He definitely didn't expect this kind of answer from his wife.

" You are not so innocent, Sugar ".

He said which made Sitara give a wink.

Soon their peaceful conversation came to a halt when they reached the Raichands family Mansion.
Seeing the mansion infront of her Sitara thought to herself " I will keep my tongue in check with others taunting, or else I have to leave alone on that stupid mansion ".

Immersed in her own thoughts she didn't pain attention to her surroundings. Samrat came out of the car and is offering a hand to her.

" SUGAR. What are you thinking. If you don't like to be here , we can leave to our mansion ".

"NO , I AM VERY FINE TO STAY HERE ", She screamed and ran inside .

The thought of Staying alone making her feel unease.

According to her , that mansion is a haunted house for her.

Samrat laughed loud looking at her running.

" Soon sugar , I will make you fall for me then you will be the one asking to go to that mansion then we can live peacefully in each other arms" he promised himself and entered inside.

Samrat stood there shocked looking at the view. That his wife is taking blessings from elders especially his mom.

" Aunty , I will go and bring snacks for you , you take rest ", Sitara said and left into kitchen leaving Seema stunned.

Seema is looking at her disappearing figure with open mouth.

" Seema close your mouth or else flies will enter ", Aakash said making her annoy.

"Sneha , is she for real ", Seems whispers to Sneha who has disbelief written all over her face.

" Maa , she is trying to accept us , i expect you both to get close to her " , Smarat says and sits beside his father.

Though he lied to his mother and sister about Sitara trying to accept them he is adamant to make it true . A hope of her falling for him rised in his chest and he is adamant to make it happen.

" Sugar , i hope you will not betray me or else you have to face the demon which I am keeping you away from ", he engrossed in his thoughts and came out by the sound of anklets.

Sitara came and served snacks to everyone and turned to go back and gently when Smarat ordered her to sit beside him .

He made her eat from his plate while chatting with his family in which Sitara is least interested.

She agreed to come here only to avoid going to that haunted mansion where she will be alone.

After some time , Samrat informed her that he has some work and he might get late to which she nodded and left to her room .

"Mom , what should we do now, should we have to accept her ", Sneha questioned her mom.

Seema smirked and replied " if we want to have in good terms with Samrat we have to . But don't worry I will make sure to make her regret for insulting us many times , she herself given us a chance ".

Both mother and daughter smirked and left from there.

Sitara decided to take a nap as she is exhausted . She skipped dinner . Samrat came early morning and slept beside her while taking her in his arms .

Sitara woke up and tried to get up .

" Sugar , sleep for sometime ", Samrat said in his morning voice still his eyes closed.

Not having any plans of facing his wrath early morning Sitara obeyed him.

On other side, Angad got to know everything from deepa , his eyes are filled with many emotions. Anger , pain, regret.

He started to curse himself for not trusting hus baby sister.

" I am sorry princess , I should have trusted you ", he shattered down remembering how he hurt Sitara.

" Angad. It's not the time to breakdown. you need to be strong. Don't let others know that we are aware of this . We need to find exactly what happened .  How many are involved in this act ?. Is Samrat too involved in this . We need to find out " , deepa tried to make Angad understand the depth of the situation.

" Yes mom, first we need to find what happened. If Samrat is behind this then I will not leave him . I have to help my princess to get justice and I have to make everyone to know the truth with proper evidence ".

Angad said with  promise in his voice that bo matter what he will not leave the culprits of his sister go away even if they are from his own family. He will make sure to punish them.
