Is It Wrong To Cheat In A Dungeon [On Hold]

Chapter 29

Raven hummed a tune to himself as he brushed the hair of his girlfriend. It was a new hobby for him.

He had idly mentioned how he used to brush and unknot the hair of siblings, Life and Death, before coming here, and Freya had asked him to do her hair.

She seemed pretty pleased at how gentle he was with her hair while easily removing the knots. It wasn't that hard when you had many years to learn to do it perfectly. Not that she really had any knots.

It was while he was doing this did he ponder on things. Like the nature of the dungeon. What was the dungeon exactly?

It was a place that regularly summoned monsters. Giving loot to the victors while claiming the lives of the failures.

A place where not even the gods could destroy. A place that despised their very existence. It absorbed them and brought them down from heaven and ending their existence.

Oh sure he could easily analyze the dungeon from here while brushing Freya's hair, but he didn't desire to do that. He wanted to reach the end of the dungeon and find out its secrets on his own.

Discover that which even the gods and goddesses couldn't discover. Find out what Ouranus guarded and kept calm since he came down from heaven and the heroes of old put the lid on the dungeon. Stopping the monsters from entering the surface.

However as he thought on that he pondered on the nature of the dungeon. Could it be a part of Tartarus? A place where monsters reformed. A realm of the dead. The home and possible physical form of the primordial god Tartarus.

Could it perhaps be the dead body of the god? Maybe an opening into the underworld and an entrance to that realm given a proper shape that mortals can understand.

It made him curious and he desired to find his answers, so he would obtain them. Raven with his mind made up decided to fully focus on his hair work before he would venture into the dungeon.

Raven hummed lightly as he walked past floor 75. It had a monster rex in the form of a giant rabbit. He had accidentally called it Bell before realizing it wasn't the little rabbit guy as he wasn't that strong yet to reach here.

He had proceeded to destroy the thing easily. Wasn't to much of a challenge. However he did enjoy finding all the mythological creatures as he dived down deep.

It was an interesting adventure for him. Plus all the exclia he would get from this would probably be enough to get close to max stats.

He huffed in annoyance as he stabbed a dragon ending its life. Wasn't much of a challenge. Went down instantly. He didn't even use his spear. He just jabbed his hand into its throat and ripped the head off.

Two more floors of this repeated till he just used his spear on floor 77, the floor consisted of lava for the floor and few platforms to stand on. He amused himself with scaring the monsters by randomly popping into the lava and making a face at them.

One monster had even tried swimming away. Raven in an amused mood followed after it and made the poor thing so scared it killed itself. Raven felt proud of that.

"That was fun." Raven laughed to himself as he walked into floor 78. It was strangely peaceful. He hadn't expected another safe floor till at least after floor 80.

The floor itself was not lava. Nope. It was actually a large open cavern area with its own natural lighting from minor points of lava flowing down the walls and from the ceiling. The actual floor was twice the size of Orario at least.
