Is It Wrong To Cheat In A Dungeon [On Hold]

Chapter 3

Raven grunted slightly as he did a small stab. Shakti had shown him four forms to use. Small stab. Large stab. Slash. Throw.

Was he a pokemon now since he only could do four things? Raven. Raven. Rae. Rav. Raven!

Raven focused on the fight as he gave a large stab this time and pierced the goblin in the forehead all the way through ending its life.

"Good. Good. That's four goblins so far. I can confidently say you've gotten the basics down. Not many in our familia use the spear, so once every week I will be sparring with you." Shakti said and Raven nodded his head in understanding.

"Understood Captain." Raven said before he spun around and gave a large stab through the chest of a goblin killing it. He collected the two crystals on the ground and put them in his pouch as they continued.

"Captain?" Raven asked as he jumped up and kicked a goblin that spawned under his feet and stabbed it through the chest ending its life.

"Yes?" She asked slightly impressed at his reaction speed and notice of the goblin. She thought for sure she'd have to kill it.

"Can you tell me about what Orario is truly like. I don't believe it's the place where dreams come true. Not entirely anyway." Raven said before he slashed a goblins head off.

"Very well. Orario is a place where dreams come true for adventures, however for most they end very quickly. They come to realize that no matter how much they try, they will never truly amount to something." Shakti said the cold hard truth.

"Of the thousands of adventures in Orario, 90% stay at level 1. The 10% that become level 2, even a shorter amount become level 3 and so on. In all of Orario there is less than 50 level 5's. Less then 10 level 6's. An only one level 7." She said as she idly kicked a goblin turning its entire body to mush and destroying its core.

Raven stared wide eye at that feat. Holy shit!

"However years ago, about 16 years ago, there existed the Zeus and Freya familia. They had the strongest adventures seen since the age of heroes. Both their familia considered level 5's as support instead of first class adventures. Level 7's were their executives. Zeus familia had a level 8 captain, his name was Maxim. The Hera familia had a level 9 captain known as The Empress. No one ever truly knew her name beside her familia. She always wore armor." Shakti said in remembrance of her old comrades.

"One day the two familia took on the three great quest. To slay the three strongest beast to ever have escaped the dungeon. Three calamities ruling over the the three zones of the planet." Shakti said as she remembered their downfall.

"The Behemoth, Ruler of The Earth. Slain by Zald, The Glutton, a level 7 executive of the Zeus familia."

"The Leviathan, Ruler of The Waters. Slain by Alfia, The Silence, a level 7 executive of the Hera familia with strength nearly on par with her captain."

"However when they went to fight the final monster, The Ruler of The Skies, The One Eyed Black Dragon, they all died, or so we thought. When the few survivors returned, Freya and Loki familia kicked them out and took the top spots. I can't say why Loki familia did it, but I know Freya did it for how Hera treated her in the past." Shakti said in remembrance at the sadistic glee on Freya's face as Zeus dragged out Hera.

"A few years later the dark ages began for Orario. However we were matching the faction known as Evilus. One day though the two remaining executives of the Hera and Zeus familia appeared. Siding with Evilus and their god Erebus." She said and Raven grunted as he blocked a strike from two goblins before kicking one and slashing at them both before stabbing one through their core and then stabbing the other quickly after killing it.
