-Jimin POV-
I was sitting at the bus stop, Rubbing my palms together, It was really cold. I was wearing denim and a white t-shirt underneath, black jeans, and white shoes, I exhaled deeply and saw my own breath in the air, I looked at the time on my phone it was 9:01 am.
I was looking deeply into the sky that I didn't realize someone was standing beside me until I felt lights tap on my shoulder
I looked to my left side and saw her standing in front of me, I stood as well
I loved how causal outside she wore, I wanted to wear something which she was comfortable with unlike those thin-short dresses and shit
I smiled at her and softly said "Happy Birthday" She was silent for a few seconds then nodded her head lightly "Thanks"
"Did you have your breakfast?" I asked her, and she shook her head "I woke up late" I looked at my phone and saw there were still two minutes left for our bus to come
"Wait, I'm coming," I said and rushed to the nearest shop and buy a warm milk bottle and a red bean bun, I reached her again and saw our bus come as well
We both immediately got inside and spotted only one free seat on the first row "Seat there" I said to her and she sat silently there while I was just standing beside her, "Here, eat it, Milk is still warm" She looked at my hands then at me
"Why suddenly you're being a caring boyfriend"
Don't smile,
Don't smile,
Don't smile.
But I still did "I... It's nothing like that, I'm just being a good friend" I saw a small smile on her face "Thanks" She said while taking the milk bottle and bun from my head "Did you have breakfast?" I nodded "I did"
The rest of our 20-minute ride went well, I got a seat opposite to her after standing for 5 minutes When we reached our destination, We both stepped outside the bus
We started walking "Where are we going?" She asked and she sounded a little excited which made me pleased
"Just a few minutes walk," I said with a small smile, Then curiosity about something ate me up which made me to ask her "I'm still shocked you said yes to spend your day with me instead of your friends, I mean I'm not complaining it was me who made you say yes, still you would've said no but you didn't, why is that?"
"They aren't my friends, just some people I decided to spend my high school days with, I just don't consider them something which they aren't, They're just some pieces of trash" I look at her with surprise, I wasn't expecting this answer, I thought she would say something like 'I don't like to celebrate birthday in the club with friends and shit' or something else but her answer was beyond that
