I wish you were dead so I'd know for certain, without a doubt, you were never coming back. Because you said you didn't 'think' there would be a future for us. And thoughts can be changed. So there's always a possibility the next knock on my door could be you.
I can't convict you of being guilty of breaking my heart- you could always come back and prove yourself innocent.
