A month had passed and it was the day of the wedding. After so much planning, anticipation and joy, the big day had finally arrived. The weather was perfect, the sun shining brightly in the sky as Lily and Demi prepared for their special day. They had spent the morning apart, getting their final touches done and sharing quiet moments before they were to exchange their vows. Their closest family and friends were there, all dressed in their finest attire, eagerly awaiting the ceremony to begin. The girls thought it was fitting to get married in their home city, Adelaide.

A few weeks before, Demi had been granted a much-needed break from her hectic work schedule. She had jumped at the chance to spend some quality time with Lily, their families, and their friends in Adelaide, knowing full well that it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As they planned the wedding, they found solace in each other's company, cherishing every moment they spent together. The weeks flew by in a whirlwind of activity, with Lily and Demi working tirelessly to ensure that every detail of their special day was perfect.

In the wedding dress shop, Lily had picked out a beautiful, lace gown that accentuated her curves and made her feel like a princess. The dress was a perfect blend of classic and modern, reflecting their shared taste in fashion. Demi, on the other hand, had chosen a sleek and stylish tuxedo that made her look even more striking than usual. As they tried on their outfits for the first time, surrounded by their loved ones, there was an air of excitement and anticipation that filled the room.

Lily's full family left every argument behind them and focused on making this day special. All her Aunties, Uncles and Cousins accepted her and Demi together, and they all worked tirelessly to help plan and prepare for the big day. Lily was grateful for their support and felt truly blessed to have such a loving family.

Lily's dad was so excited to walk his daughter down the aisle, and Demi's mom was equally thrilled to see her daughter in her tuxedo. They had grown close over the past few weeks, bonding over their shared excitement for the wedding and their love for Lily and Demi. Even Demi's estranged father had shown up, looking uncharacteristically solemn in his tuxedo. It was clear that he was trying to make amends, if only for Lily's sake.

At the Venue...

The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of their Australian heritage and their shared love of music, with a tune playing during the processional and a traditional folk song sung by a local choir.

The crowd was split in two, on on side was Lily's family and friends, the other was Demi's. As they waited for the bride and groom to arrive, they exchanged excited glances and whispered their anticipation. The air was thick with anticipation and love, as if everyone in the room could feel the connection between Lily and Demi, even before they set eyes on each other.

Many of Lily's friends were bridesmaids and they were so excited to see her in her gown. They had all grown close over the years, sharing countless memories and experiences together. On Demi's side, her best friends were groomsmen, dressed sharply in their suits. They, too, had become like family to her and felt honoured to be standing by her side on this special day.

Now was the time, Demi stood at the aisle, waiting for Lily to appear. Her heart raced as she scanned the crowd, searching for a glimpse of her beautiful bride. The music swelled, signaling Lily's approach, and Demi felt a lump form in her throat. There was a collective gasp from the audience as Lily emerged, her hand resting lightly on her father's arm. She was more stunning than Demi could have ever imagined, her dress flowing behind her like a river of stars. Their eyes met, and in that moment, it felt as if the world had paused, holding its breath.

Demi couldn't help but smile through her tears as Lily made her way down the aisle. The love in her eyes was unmistakable, and it felt like the sun had risen inside her chest. Many of Lily and Demi's family and friends shed tears. Everyone was so happy for them, and the emotion of the moment was palpable.
