Chapter 6: Moonlight

Anakin pov:
Anakin Skywalker stood alone in his room, his thoughts a turbulent whirlwind of emotion. He stared out the window into the darkness of the night, unable to shake the weight of the past that hung heavy on his shoulders.

Isadora's words echoed in his mind, her hurt and confusion a painful reminder of the rift that had grown between them. He knew he had been harsh, cruel even, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Not when the pain of his past consumed him so completely.

As he stood in silence, memories of his mother flooded his mind, her warm smile and gentle touch a bittersweet reminder of what he had lost. He had never told anyone about her death, not even Obi-Wan, choosing instead to bury his grief deep within his heart where no one could reach it.

But now, as he stood on the precipice of a new chapter in his life, the pain threatened to consume him once more. He couldn't go back to his old life, couldn't face the memories that haunted him at every turn. And yet, the thought of moving forward filled him with a sense of dread he couldn't shake.

And then there was Isadora, with her earnest eyes and unwavering determination, a constant reminder of the life he had left behind. He had pushed her away, lashing out with all the anger and resentment that simmered beneath the surface, but deep down, he knew the truth.

He cared about her, more than he cared to admit. But admitting that would mean facing the pain of his past, confronting the demons that lurked within him. And so, he pushed her away, again and again, building walls around his heart to keep her out.

But even as he tried to convince himself that he didn't need her, that he was better off alone, he couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that gnawed at his soul. He longed for the comfort of her presence, the warmth of her friendship, but he couldn't bring himself to reach out, to admit his weakness.

And so, he stood alone in the darkness, torn between the past he could never reclaim and the future that lay ahead. And as the weight of his grief threatened to crush him, Anakin knew that no matter how hard he tried to push her away, Isadora would always hold a place in his heart, a reminder of the life he had left behind and the pain he could never escape.

As Anakin Skywalker lay on the soft grass of Naboo, his gaze fixed upon the shimmering tapestry of stars above, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. Beside him, Isadora reclined gracefully, her presence casting a gentle glow in the moonlight that seemed to outshine even the brightest stars.

"Look at that one," Isadora whispered, her voice soft and filled with wonder as she pointed to a particularly bright star. "It's like it's calling out to us, beckoning us into its embrace."

Anakin followed her gaze, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of her radiant smile. "It's beautiful," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he found himself entranced not by the stars above, but by the beauty of the woman beside him.
