I was known to have control, and she was known to test it.
She ran outside of the club, without informing me and wobbled her way to the bathroom.

I stayed outside the washroom and was about to knock on the doors when she came outside walking slowly and looking down.

There was something different in the way she walked right now. She seemed...tired, defeated.

"Why did you walk away like this? How many times have I told you, don't go anywhere without telling me!"

"You're my bodyguard, not my babysitter. You're supposed to follow me around like a dog right?" Words don't affect me, because I have heard worse.

But her words, they stab me for some reason. She pushes my ugliest monsters to come out and fight back.

"That's enough of you, throwing tantrums and acting like you're everything perfect and I am a villain in your life. Trust me, even I don't like having to babysit an adult child!" I yelled and I noticed the way her eyes changed.

"You think you're so high and mighty and everyone else is just beneath you? Let me tell you this! That's not how it works!" She yelled in my face, and looked pretty done with me.

That's not how it works.

"You seem to know it all, miss perfect, hmm?" I stepped closer, trying to intimidate her, trying to make her feel small and give up, but she doesn't budge.

Not even a little bit.

"I never claimed that, but, if you keep pushing me Mr. Singh, I'll make sure to turn each second of your life into needles that will prickle you everytime you breathe." Her heels tapped on the floor and I couldn't control my anger anymore.

"We will see who wins then, you pretty little doll." Her nose flared when I called her that nickname.

She hated it so much.

Just like how I hate her.

She loathes me.

I loathe her.
