James skipped in circles around the tree Reggie was leaning on, a burst of energy pulsing through him.

"How about you take a break, love? You've been jumping around for so long," Reggie suggested.

"Ugh!" James flopped down beside his boyfriend. "Reggie?"

"Hm," He replied softly.

"Can we go to the beach this summer?"

"How about the desert?"

"Spain?"

"Italy?"

The two pondered a moment.

"Or we could stay here," James proposed.

"Yeah, I like that idea." Reggie nodded, settling back into his book.

"I'm hungry," James sighed.

"Lunch is in five minutes, want to start heading up there?"

"YEAH!" James leapt up, pulling Regulus gently along behind him.

"You're an odd one, my love," Regulus remarked with a short laugh.

"And that's why you love me!" James proclaimed.

"I do love you."

"How odd!"

Their heavy breath was the only noise to accompany them at the beginning of their meal, catching up from the run they had taken.

"Hi, loves!" Lily smiled, sliding onto the bench across from them.

"Tired are we?" Mary smirked.

"We sprinted in from the lake." James shot her a look.

They picked at their minced meat pies in silence, enjoying the lovely food prepared by the elves.

"Did you know that Columbia's main export is coffee beans?" Remus spoke.

"How long've you been here?" James said through a mouthful.

"I said hi when I sat down like five minutes ago!" He frowned.

"Oh, uh, sorry, mate!" James grinned, his smile like a ray of sunshine.

"S'alright, I suppose," Remus muttered, moving his soup around his bowl. "This soup is not my favourite. I forgot I don't like soup."

His friends turned sharply to stare.

"What?" Remus asked, defensively.

"I'm sorry, you don't like soup?" Marlene stared, her eyes wide as saucers.

"So, how're the dorm cats?" Lily quickly changed the topic.

"Good!" James smiled, exchanging Remus's soup for some toast with spread. "They seem to remain occupied. Sirius's cat is getting rather large, though."

"Compensating for something," Lily muttered under her breath.

"Not at all," Remus said through a mouthful of toast.

"EW!" Regulus groaned, covering his ears.

"What?" Remus smirked. "I could've meant his... hair!"

"We all know you didn't, though." Regulus let his head fall onto James's shoulder.

"Moons!" Sirius cried happily

"Hullo, love!" Remus smiled invitingly.

"So, Sirius I hear that you're compensating," James said casually.

"Hm?" Sirius asked over his brother violently choking on his tea.

"Your last homework piece? Trelawny asked me to tell you that the new one is due tomorrow," James replied, raising an eyebrow at Regulus.
