Hello lovely readers,

If you're looking for a whimsical winter holiday read featuring a temperamental Asian-American female protagonist and a good-looking, somewhat-aloof Asian male lead who serves as her childhood archenemy, then you're in the right place. If you're looking for a book about the struggles of adulting and finding your place in the world, then you're also in the right place.

If you're simply looking for a book about hot Asians falling in love, then you're definitely in the right place.

This is not the typical book some of my readers might expect from me. I usually write high fantasy, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for chicklit and romance, so here it goes!

A Note on Chinese Kinship Terms
Frankly, it can be confusing.

The basics:
Māma - Mom
Bàba - Dad
Nǎi Nai- Paternal grandmother
Yé Ye - Paternal grandfather
Jǐe Jie - Older sister

In Chinese culture, people also use familial terms to address others as a form of respect. For example, Juliana calls her mother's close family friend, Elliot's mother, 'Auntie.' This is a term of respect. Elliot and Juliana are not cousins!

ONC:
This is my first ONC entry! I've never participated in ONC before. I have no idea if I'm going to be able to keep up with the rounds, but I liked some of the prompts, so I couldn't resist!

Audience:
This book is classified as New Adult or adult fiction because it chronicles the lives and experiences of adults. Sexually suggestive themes are present. However, this book does not contain erotic scenes, excessive cursing, graphic violence, or other NSFW content, so older YA readers or readers who prefer to stay away from that type of content in general are more than welcome here.
