Chapter 0: The Beginning

☆Leirad's POV☆

Today is a warm day in Westside Haven City, I was running down Windmill Aura Street where I would normally start the day with a morning run around the place, as I ran I would occasionally bump into people who were talking to their friends and eating at the local cafe called Darling's Morning Star, when they noticed the blue streak passing by, I heard them shout my name and they waved at me, I waved back and gave them my usual charismatic smile as I continued with my daily run. I started to pick up the pace and then I started running even faster than before down the street with a smile full of pure bliss, full of pure happiness, ah... I always enjoyed this feeling, this feeling of freedom, it's something that I always enjoyed. It fills my soul with pure joy... Sorry haha, but you know how I get when I talk about this "feeling". Some of you may be wondering, "who is this person?" well... let me introduce myself
[then clears his throat to begin introducing himself] hello! My name is Leirad! It's a pleasure to meet you!

[He said as he used the peace sign while running]

while I was running I came across a pizzeria that I had never seen before, this caught my attention so I headed there to take a look at the place, I was already in a grassy field near the place but when I was about to run straight into the location, I received a call from my best friend Samantha on my wrist communicator. She's probably calling me to see how I'm doing, well, I guess I should answer.

Samantha (from the communicator): Hello Lei!

Leirad: Heya Sam, how are you doing?

Samantha: I'm doing well, and you?

Leirad: good as always!

Samantha: Hehe... I'm glad to know that, by the way, what are you doing?

Leirad: eh, not much, I was doing what I would normally do in the mornings, you know, just getting some fresh air, but, I just discovered a place totally unknown to me.

Samantha: Oh yeah?

Leirad: Yes! It seems to be an anime convention? Or a pizzeria? I really don't know, but from what I see, it seems to be a site that combines both.

Samantha:Wait, are you referring to Freddie's Anime Convention?

Leirad: huh? Is that what the name of the site is?

Samantha: Yeah, it's a pretty famous place in our city.

Leirad: hm, I see, if so, I think I'll go take a look at the site, I'll talk to you later, okay?

Samantha: okay, take care!

Leirad: okay! By the way, give Zack my regards!

Samantha: Okay!

[End of conversation]

Leirad: well, I should take advantage of the fact that the place is open, heh, it's time to start a new adventure!

[Leirad prepares to head towards the place, but not before looking at the fourth wall]

Leirad: don't just stand there, come on, come with me!

[Then, Leirad runs towards the convention with a confident smile ready to face the unknown...]
