June 23rd, 1924

As I go through more and more of these letters, I'm getting more confused. Alex seems calmer than before, but he doesn't sound right. Obviously he wasn't fine, as he didn't stick around for a very long time after these were written. I've been through about twelve letters in total now and I've gathered very little information, but here it is anyway.

There is an abundance of these odd symbols, these circles crossed out, as well as these scratchy drawings and what I think are words. They don't look like Alex's handwriting, but it must have been him that drew them.

Alex goes from talking about this thing to rambling about the production without much warning. It seems as though hes seeing it more often, closer now.

He talks about the trees. It's in the trees. The trees are watching. Then immediately after, about his lovely picnic with Amelia, his wife.

All of this leads me to... nothing. It seems as though Alex is trying to keep up with every single occurrence, much like I'm doing here I suppose. However, with the way these letters are going, I'm not sure if I am going to figure anything out about why.
