A tear trails down her cheek as she knows the end is near and she will likely not get to tell her family this herself.
"Please, tell my family that I love them, and take care of them for me, especially Rafe— he'll need the love." she ends her speech, her voice fading into silence.
"Rhea?" They all called
Silence.
"Rhea!?"
Silence.
The monitor shows that Rhea's heart has suddenly stopped beating and a flatline is now displayed on the screen. The doctors and nurses are in a state of panic, rushing into the room and trying to resuscitate Rhea as soon as possible.
"I can't fucking watch this." Marcus rushed out the door
They begin giving her CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), attempting to restore her heartbeat and breathing with each compression of her chest. They continue to try for a few more minutes and hope desperately that she will survive the emergency.
Mak cannot believe what he has just heard. The doctors are telling him that Rhea is gone, that there's nothing they can do to bring her back, and he feels his anger and frustration boiling over.
His knuckles go white as he squeezes his fists tightly and tears fall from his eyes. His jaw is clenched and he feels a sense of rage and injustice.
He lashes out at the doctors, asking them what they have done to try and save her life, claiming they didn't do enough to help her and accusing them of being incompetent.
"Help her now."
"We're trying!" The doctors yelled
The doctors try one last time to revive Rhea's heart with the defibrillator. The device sends an electric shock through her body, causing her heart to jolt and her body to twitch.
The doctors all watch as she jolts violently and watch the monitor for any sign of life,
No sign of life.
"Get the fuck out." Mak yelled at the doctors
The recent compelled doctors did as they was told, "I'm sorry Rhea but I can't bear seeing you like this."
Mak carried Rhea's lifeless body and jumped out of the hospital's window— landing on his feet.

"what are you going to do with her body?" Marcus said from behind me
I turned around seeing the three of my brothers standing there glaring.
"Taking her home." I said trying to walk away
"It should've of been you Mak." Malachi said—making me turn around.
"She was only eighteen" he continued
"I told her to stay behind me." My voice starts to break
"You still made her go out there, I had it." Malachi said
"Did you though? We had to save your ass for the second time." I replied back
"It's not my fault that my sweet Rhea was brave." My eyes start to water
Malachi was silence, his fists starting to clench.
"So where are you taking the body?"
"Body!? This is fucking Rhea." I corrected him
"I'm taking her to her family, are you guys coming?" I waited for a response
Silence.
I sighed before walking again still holding on to Rhea's lifeless body as she weighed nothing to me— closing her eyes shut with the touch of my hand. "Sweet dreams my love." I whispered
I heard footsteps behind me knowing that my brothers were following.
"We're coming." Milo said with a smile on his face.
