this is basically my adhd/pantser brain on fire right now so i ended up making some potential ideas about the setting for the au. all is liable for change and these came at a 1 am brain so be warned. they're kinda strange:
- the faerie faction is hiding under a meek and innocent "we're oblivious to everything political" mask; they're actually planning on taking over the empire and all the lands
- flutters is one of the very few who honestly don't see much success and are against the plans
- the capital city of the main empire used to be in the middle of the realm. but the faerie faction, the covens, and a whole bunch of other crap made it the northwest corner of the current empire
- witch and warlock covens hide across in the everfree forest (reference to canon). no one really sees them living among actual civilization
still trying to get lore put together and hopefully that will make worldbuilding easier!
