"Were going for drinks, you're coming?" I assumed he would come anyways, always following along before the workday ended, but I wasn't sure if he was even allowed to stay out for social activities.

"We have to finish the paperwork fo-" I laughed and bowed my head. I moved to grab his hand as it was gesturing towards the computer and tugged him lightly to get him out of the chair but of course, he didn't budge at all.

"No ya don't, Right now you have to join us for a drink and think about something else other than murder." I said tugging more and attempting to flash a convincing smile. He smirked lightly and gave in, nodding softly and allowing me to pull him out of the chair, tailing close behind after I let go.

Hank stood by his car waiting for us, leaning against it, lost in thought, before hearing us coming up and pulling himself up with a grunt, causing the vintage car to creak. When we got settled in I jerked for the aux to plug in my phone before Hank could, attempting to put on something more upbeat that Hank's regular Playlist before he could.

"I don't wanna listen to this fairy shit." Hank grumbled, causing me to laugh.

"How dare!" I say clutching my invisible pearls and scoffing dramatically. "Doth thouest mock the art of Classical Rock?" I turned the Beatles up louder and Hanks face morphed into a smirk despite trying to remain grumpy as I began to dance.

We pulled into the bar in a much better mood than we left. Connor let a soft smile fall on his face and his LED remained mostly blue. Me and hank had gotten into a playful argument over music and Connor chipped in every once in a while to correct us on our history or add fun facts.

"I don't care about no fancy system or childhood opinion, I've been alive longer than you both," Hank said, getting out of the car. "I know good music."

We all walked into the bar together, promptly ignoring the no android sign, to the distain of a couple guests. We sat in a booth a bit in the back as the senior detective got us drinks. Vodka shots, for the week we've all had. Hank took a double and I just took one, needing to sip a soda right after as my liver isn't hardend over like his. Hank let out a deep sigh as the alcohol coated his throat, like it was sweet and delicious while I twinged my face at the taste, coughing slightly. I grabbed another right after, stress fueling my actions, as I watched Connor's eyes fixate on the table in thought.

I took the shot trying to drown the thoughts swilling in my head of exploring the vastness of his eyes. Although, alcohol probably wasn't the smartest as 15 minutes 2 shots and a mixed drink later, my thoughts spurred on even harder, now unfiltered as my drunk brain didn't try to stop them. Hank talked about old cases and we laughed hearing the crazy stories, the conversation flowing easily as the night went on and I was happy that Connor slowly loosened up as I slowly got drunker. I lifted another shot to tap Hanks glass and didn't even taste this one as it coated my tounge.

"You should only have 1 more." Connor said leaning over, and whispering in my ear, making me suck in a breath.

"Who are youu" I said slurring my words and talking much louder than he did, "to tell me how much I can have." I said poking his shoulder playfully.

"Ope-hiccup- you just had to assk, " Hank said laughing, leaning heavily on the table.

"According to your height and weight, 2 shots of that %50 strawberry vodka will make you disoriented and boysterous," he said with a twinge of defiance in his voice from Hanks comment. "while 5 will put you at risk of vommiting and memory loss." his eyes were fixated on me and I has to rip my gaze away to give Hank a 'what the fuck?' through my facial expressions, trying to ignore the fact that Connor was still looking at me. Hank laughed at my reaction and mocked 'boysterous' under his breath as he grabbed another double.

"I didnt evenn know wat I was drinknin" I joked, grabbing another shot and holding it up to hank for a cheers, looking at connor through my lashes as the alcohol slid down my throught. "So, Connor-" I started as Hank stumbled up for another round. "I knowww you cant like- drink anythin but like- you can tase right?" my words took real effort now and my limbs have a mind of their own.

"I-uh I guess so, but its not really 'taste' per say, " he shifted in his seat.

"You got that-that analyzzer shit in your mouth?" Hank said placing down 6 shots and messily crashing into his seat, making the table clank around.

"ohhhh realllyy?" I said raising my eyebrows and turning to hank dramatically.

"puts fuckinnn blood in his mouf the sick fuck." Hank teases.

"eugh! Connor thasss nastyy" I stuck my tounge out like the blood was in my mouth.

"I'm analyzing samples..." Connor defended with an adorable blush spreading across his cheacks and ears.

"What'd it tasse like?" I said and took another shot.

"What!?" Hank and Connor said in unison turning to me.

"like-hiccup-wat did the blllood taste like," I said leaning back in the booth.

"I-I mean it.. it tasted like Iron, microwaved hotdogs and red ice"

"so you can taste." I pushing a shot towards Connor with a large grin.

"Ohhhh!" Hank said trying his best to lean forward in his chair and gripping the table. "She-she got you Connor you gotta take it now" Hanks words were falling out of his mouth messily and he spilled some vodka as he lifted another double for a cheers.

Connor looked between Me, Hank and the shot with his LED swirling yellow. The shocked look on his face made me smile wider and he hesitantly took the shot and lifted it next to hanks with much more grace than I did in my excited stupor.

"Lets go Con-Con, Cheers!" Hank slurred with a large smile, slamming his glass against ours and making us laugh.

"Cheers." Connor said softly, tinking his glass against mine. I watched as he let the alcohol coat his tounge and throat and only took mine once I saw his eyebrows furrow as he tasted it.

Hank patted connor on the back with a heavy hand pushing him, bumbing into me softly. The world was very swishy now and my head felt like it was much heavier. I saw the smile on Connors face as he looked up at Hanks proud one. I leaned on his shoulder with a smile and Hank left laughing to the bathroom. I relished in the fact we were able to lift Connor's mood, sadly though, my brain couldn't stop my mouth from blurting,

"Why didja let those ladies go?" Connor turned to me quickly, his smile dropping.

"What? I... I just," he shifted in his seat and turned to face me more, leaning over and lowering his voice. "I don't know... okay? I just, couldn't." I looked deeply into his eyes and saw a flury of emotions, my hand moved to his arm without my permission and I rubbed it softly.

"Hank ssaid, " I cursed my mouth for not cooperating right now, "that they werrr holdin hands." Connors eyes slowly moved from mine to looking down at my hand and his hair fell gently out of place.

"They we're," his other hand moved towards mine but twitched and stopped resting back down on his leg. "They we're in love." He suddenly sat up straight with a sigh and grabbed another shot, taking it quickly and cringing.

"I-I don't think I like that." He said pushing the glas towards the tray and breathing deeply, making me laugh.

"Ur not supposssda to like it, it's suppose to make you feel bad-er- in a... good way" I said leaning towards him, "so, do ya feel it?" He looked at me with a strange look and stared for a moment, his LED flashing yellow as he thought about my question, eyes flashing to my lips and back up before he said,

"Yea... I think I do." And I smiled like a little kid, pushing another shot his way.
