MAIN QUEST PART 12

I sit on my bed as March sits beside me.

"Whatever you did back there was so cool!" March said

March's eyes sparkle as she looks at me. I smile, rubbing the back of my neck while looking down.

"Thank you-" I said

"Ahem."

We both look at the door of my room where the voice came from and Dan heng is standing there, looking straight at me.

'oh no... Oh no!!!.' I thought

I panic internally while smiling on the outside.

"Dan heng! Wasn't it cool?! Like she was floating and her body was emitting purple energy!" March said

March babbles on with a cheerful tone, standing up and mimicking my moves from the fight.

"March, why can't I leave my room?" I said

I ask, trying to divert their attention onto something else. And the way Dan Heng is staring at me sends chills down my spine.

"Hemiko's orders." March said

March says while shurging her shoulders, Dan Heng still leaning against the door, eyes focused on me. He pulls away from the door and walks inside the room.

"March, Asta was asking about you." Dan Heng said

"Huh? She was?" March said

March looks at Dan heng, confused. But he just nods without looking at her. My eyes widen alittle.

'he is trying to get me alone to talk!??? Oh shit oh shit oh shit.' I thought

"Oh well! Dan Heng take care of y/n." March said

'March, he won't, DONT GOOO' I thought

She points at Dan heng's shoulder. And looks at me with a big smile.

"I will be right back!" March said

'Please come back quickly MARCH, I'M SCARED OF THIS DRAGON' I thought

Before I can stop her, she has already left. I keep my eyes glued to the ground as I hear footsteps and now he is standing in front of me. I slowly lift my chin to look up at him.

His eyebrows wrinkled, his arms crossed. His gaze is intense. I scoot backwards on the bed as he stands in front of me.

"Hi?" I said

I say, smiling awkwardly. He scoffs.

"What was that?" He said

I look at him in confusion.

"What was what?" I said

He leans down, now face to face with me. He narrows his eyes.

"Don't play dumb." He said

I start to sweat.

"I-- umm... Ahh... Uhhh." I said

I avoid eye contact, looking everywhere but him.

"Y/n." Dan Heng said

Chills, literally goosebumps. What am I  going to say!!!!

"Look at me." Dan Heng said

"What if I say no?" I said

"You still have no choice" Dan Heng said

'I'm SOOOO DEAD' I thought

I shrink a little, shifting in my place.

'ugghhhhhhh.... What do I do what do I say....' I thought

He suddenly grabs my chin and makes me look at him.

"Why did you refer to me as dragon? What do you know? How much do you know?" Dan Heng said

"I.. know... Nothiwng..." I said

My speech fumbled because of his grip on my cheeks. He stares into my eyes. We are so close. It's as if he is trying to read my mind.

"You are a bad liar." Dan Heng said

He says it as a fact.

He knows!!! He knows!! There is nothing else I can do but...

My eyes fall to his lips. I immediately meet his eyes. And quickly lean in, giving him a peck. He let's go of me, stumbling back in shock.

Taking this chance I dash out of my room. Remembering where cealus would be right now.  I book it to that place..
