"Let's go speak with the researchers. Right now the space station can't afford more unexpected turns, especially from within. Have you tried contacting Herta?" Himeko said
"I sent multiple letters, all met with silence. You know her, Himeko, the space station is but a mere warehouse for followers and rare items. She doesn't really care about it" Asta said
"I knew it... No matter. I'll send a letter to Herta and tell her that we've brought the rare items she seeks... At least that might get her attention" Himeko said
"That would be of great help" Asta said
"I'll leave the reassurance of the researchers in your hands" Asta said
"If you have any other questions, you are welcomed to come to Himeko and me" Asta said
"Ok Asta" I said
Then we went to Arlan
"If only I'd caught the Antimatter Legion sooner" Arlan said
"How are you feeling?" Cealus said
"I'm fine, this pain is nothing, really. I'm used to it. In fact. I should be proud of it. It's a reminder of being able to protect everyone" Arlan said
"Ahem, but don't tell Lead Researcher Asta what I just said" Arlan said
"How's the space station?" Cealus said
"There were a few researchers who didn't make it" Arlan said
"The rest are fine, mostly minor injuries. But I'm worried about their mental states" Arlan said
"Most of them came to the space station because they admired Madam Herta. But now they can't reach her or even their own families. I just hope they can all survive this crisis" Arlan said
"What's Asta like?" Cealus said
"My first impression was that she was the daughter of a rich family – owners of a big company" Arlan said
"She was kind to me though. When she went to the space station. I followed her" Arlan said
"I don't know much about science. But I'm glad to be able to protect people in pursuit of their research" Arlan said
"Alright. We'll leave you to get some rest" I said
"I hope this chaos will end soon" Arlan said
Then me and Cealus went to the man who was sitting on the bench
"I need to leave. I need to run from this forsaken. No, it's impossible. I can run from yesterday. I can run today, but tomorrow will always be one step ahead of me" the man said
"I think this man is crazy" I whispered only Cealus could hear it
"Look, the obstacle detection terminal has recorded 142.856 attacks.... the next count will be 142.857!" The man said
[Aka the most annoying npc other then paimon]
"I know in my heart that when I see that hopelessly beautiful cyclic number... it will mean a poetic end of my life's cycle" He said
'i wanna kill this man' I thought
"Things will get better" Cealus said
"Everyone keeps saying that. “Th will get better, things won't always be this bad”. Negative... positive... A negative of a negative is a positive" the man said
"Life is but a path to death, but not today" I said
"Life is but a path of death, but not today.... How insightful. Yes of course! The closer you approach death, the more you appreciate life" he said
'Can I fing kill this man?' I thought
"I will pull myself together. Thank you, that was kind of you" he said
Then we went down and went to the other researcher the researcher turned around and said
"Push the stick down, Alfred... Sorry I got the wrong person" he said
