Zonnique POV: I woke up early Saturday morning at 5:00. I got up,took a shower and put on one of jays t shirts with a pair of baggy sweats tht fit me well. I didn't feel lik cooking anything so I just woke Lyndell up

Me: baby wake up

Lyndell:*half sleep* y u waken me up for ma?

Me: because u need to get up I don't want u sleep all day

Lyndell: wat time is it?

Me: 6:45

Lyndell: ughhhhh

Me: keep it up u wont get nothing for ur birthday

Lyndell: which is in one week

Me: exactly so get up

I felt a kick from the baby,ugh not now. I just held my stomach and walked downstairs.Jay was up and watching TV.

Me: good morning

Jay: good morning babe

Me:*sits next to him* I have the worst stomach pain right now

Jay: awww is there anything I could do?

Me: not really

Jay:*kisses my cheek* tell if there is

Me: ok...wat u watchin

Jay: American pie

Me: turn tht off

Jay: y?

Me: because wat if Lyndell comes down here?

Jay: fine*turns to the news*

I saw a firmiler face on the screen

Me: babe turn this up plz

it was ray. it said he was shot last night and might not live.

Me: oh my God...

Jay: u knoe him?

Me: thts Lyndells father

Jay:*turns the TV off*

Me: babe!*grabs the remote and turns it back on*

He was a the hospital a mile away from my house. I had to go see him

Me: Lyndell!!! hurry up we're going somewhere

Jay: ur not going to see him right?

Me: baby I have to

Jay: no u don't

Me: yes and I'm going

Lyndell was ready at 7:30 I put my shoes and coat on and started walking for the door

Jay: if u leave...

Me: wat?

Jay: y do u have to go?

Me: because...he's his father

Jay: fine go...idc if u go forever

Me:*teary eyed* lets go

Me and Lyndell got in the car and drove to the hospital. I asked for rays room number and went with Lyndell. ray was awake

Me: hey...

Ray: zonnique? is tht really u?

Me: yea its me

Ray: wat r u doing here?

Me: I saw wat happened to you r u ok?

Ray: yea I'm fine...who's this?
