"Actually..." She had just started when Ms Kim called Jaemin down to make a delivery.

"You can watch TV or something." Jaemin showed her the sofa when they came out of Jeno's room.

Despite expecting it, Jeno couldn't help but be awed by the opulent mansion Karina lived in. "It's huge." He commented when they made their way through the gate.

"Wait till you see inside." And she was right. It looked big enough on the outside but once you walk in it was unbelievably spacious regardless of all the decoratives. Despite the minimalistic decor, it had stand out points such as the ancient clock or the extravagantly gigantic low chandelier.

Jeno couldn't help but wonder if Karina ever needed anything in life.

"Maybe I should give you a house tour. I was planning to post a house tour video on insta, do you mind recording me?" Karina requested. You could tell that she wasn't used to no, as she handed him her phone before he even replied.

"I could use my camera." Jeno pointed at the canon he was wearing on his neck.

Karina beamed. "Let me do a quick touch up." She said so but came back in a whole different attire : a flowy light blue ruffle dress that sat just right below her knee. Her hair was tied in a messy bun to give her a cozy look.

She held the dress by the side and did a cute little spin, "how do I look?"

"Oh... fine... You look ok." Jeno looked down to turn on his camera. Karina rolled her eyes at his sheer disinterest.

"We should start from outside. You ring the bell and I will open to welcome you. Okay?" She instructed.

"Hello! Everyone! Welcome to the Yoo residency! As promised, here's the house tour you guys have always wanted." Karina's voice was cheery as she tuned fully into her influencer mode.

She must enjoy doing this...

They shot until the stairs and Karina told him to pause. "Let's watch it first." They sat together on the sofa.

"Woah! Lee Jeno, this is so professional. How are you this good?" Karina complimented playfully elbowing him.

The exterior of the house was mainly glass allowing the outside view to be enjoyed from inside as well. "What do you think of the view here?"

Jeno stood up to face Karina. He took a face steps back to capture the back view centering Karina who sat on the Beige sofa. "Amazing."

He can compliment a view but not me...

"Let's do a quick QnA. Ask me whatever. I will edit it." She told him.

"Ok, 1.2.3. Rolling. Start. What's your favorite memory in this house?"

"Probably when I first played hide and seek with Coco and he got lost. I remember weeping alot then." Karina chuckled.

It was then that both of them remembered the reason why Jeno was in her house in the first place.

"Let's go see what Coco's upto right now." Karina stood leading the way to Coco's playroom.

A dog's playroom being bigger than Jeno's bedroom left him feeling a little sour. How was a dog living the life?

I might as well just be a dog.

"My baby, come're." She cooed as she wrapped him around her embrace. "You must have been so lonely."

She places him on her lap as she decides to talk into the camera narrating the argument she had with Jeno. "See his mole here, its exactly like yours."

"Why are you telling everyone that I look like some dog?" He smirked, clearly not happy being told he looked like coco.

"What's wrong with looking like my Coco? Look at him, he's so cute and calm." She tried shoving the dog into his face causing the white grown golden retriever to bark.

Karina laughed before standing up and walking to the backyard where they had a swimming pool. She was still carrying Coco while Jeno trudged behind her. It took minutes of walking from section to section of the same house. The sky display an array of colors indicating the oncoming darkness that would soon veil the earth. It looked aesthetic in the moment and Karina made sure Jeno captured it.

"Next question." Karina prompted.

All poor Jeno came to do was see Coco and here he was forced to come up with improv questions. He decided to ask what he was most curious about.

"You seem to have everything in life, is there something that you have always wanted but failed to attain?"

Karina's smile faded away. Her face became serious.

Did I ask the wrong thing?

"Probably... my parents' attention. That is assuming they still love me." She spoke wistfully.

No matter how much wealth one had, they also had struggles just like most people albeit not the same worries. In fact to some people her worries wouldn't really be considered much of a struggle until they found out that the last time she had a proper dinner with her parents was 2 years prior to that day.

"See, they aren't home even now. On a day like today." She giggled bitterly.

Jeno couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat. He assumed that her parents were probably in some corner of that huge mansion. At least her mom, or a relative, maybe. That's what he convinced himself when she asked him to visit her house.

"Do you want to grab some..." She gestured for drinks with her fingers.

"You got me all in the mood. Imma some depressant with stimulant effect." She subconsciously found herself hugging the dog tighter, her voice was deeper everytime she talked seriously, it almost surprised Jeno.

This girl! Does she just trust any man to have alcohol with him in her empty mansion?
