        𝐶𝐴𝑆𝑃𝐼𝐴 𝐻𝐴𝐷 𝐺𝑂𝑇𝑇𝐸𝑁 𝑂𝑈𝑇 of the hospital during the weekend and she was decently happy about it. She still had her metal knee brace and she still had her medical bandage on her wrist. She had come back to the hospital today although because Miguel got his medical halo off. July had driven her over there and Caspia was limping over to Miguel's room. There she found Carmen and a doctor just leaving Miguel's room. "Oh, Cassy. You can go inside, Miguel's awake."

Caspia limped her way inside and she found Miguel without his halo on. "Hey, Miguel! Wow, your hair looks really good."

Miguel smiled and Caspia gave him a small hug. She sat down in one of the chairs and noticed Miguel looking past her. She looked behind her and saw Carmen talking to the doctor and crying. Caspia immediately tried to distract Miguel. "So, I watched the Dodgers game yesterday, and they won!"

"You watched baseball?"

"Yeah, I know these TVs don't have the channel that show it." Miguel looked past her again and Caspia was running out of things to distract him with. "So, my doctor says I might be able to do karate again in a few days. I just have to rest a lot and my knee should stop hurting. I do have to wear this stupid thing for a year though."

"Really? That's awesome! I'm really hoping once I heal, I can do karate again."

"I'm sure you can. You're Miguel Diaz! Karate's your calling." Miguel gave her a simple smile. He was a little jealous that she was going to be able to do Karate, but he was still really thankful that Caspia was visiting him as much as she could. He knew Caspia would always be there for him.

Caspia had done exactly what she was asked of. She rested her leg for a few days and barely walked on it. She didn't visit Miguel, but he told her that he didn't want to see her because he wanted her to rest. It sounds mean, but he was being nice. Caspia's leg didn't hurt anymore and she wasn't limping. She started doing tiny exercises for karate and she could still kick pretty well, she just couldn't do her crazy flips.

Caspia was really excited because now she could visit Miguel again, so she made fruit salad for Miguel since according to him, 'that's the only thing she can make'. He's mostly right. She can make that and pancakes. July drove her to the hospital and she literally ran inside. Once she got in, she knew she couldn't run in a hospital, but she did walk very fast. Once Caspia got to Miguel's room she saw Sam there. "Oh, hi, Sam."

"Cass, is your leg okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. This one looks even better." Caspia pointed to Miguel as she walked to the other side of his hospital bed. "I mean, come on. Look at his hair. Never looked hotter."

Miguel gave her a look that said, 'don't embarrass me'. "What? I'm hyping you up. Being a good friend. Also, I brought you food, so you're welcome."

Miguel had asked her a while ago to treat him normally. Everyone was babying him and he really didn't like it so Caspia was his last hope.

"Well, I just wanted to stop by to give you this. It's just a card." Sam suddenly said, handing Miguel the card with a cute octopus on it. Miguel smiled and it made Sam smile. Caspia was standing there like a third wheel and she didn't really like it, but she knew Miguel still liked Sam and Sam still liked Miguel. It was painfully obvious.

Sam was about to speak again, but Hawk cut her off. He came into the room while saying, "El Serpiente!"

That was his nickname for Miguel, but he immediately stopped once he saw Caspia.

"I-I'm gonna go." Sam suddenly said, not wanting to be around Hawk. She walked past Hawk, but before she left, Hawk stopped her by saying, "You got some nerve coming here after what your boyfriend did."

"I don't care what you think. I just wanna help."

"Pretty sure you've done enough." When Sam walked off and Hawk looked back, he saw Miguel starting to eat and Caspia putting the card with the rest. Hawk was clearly hesitant to come in, but Caspia knew Miguel had been wanting to see him. "I'm gonna go. I'll let you talk to...um, him."

"Wait, I thought you were staying all day today."

"I can come back. I'll just be floating around." Caspia gave Miguel a small smile before she started walking. Before she could pass Hawk, he stepped in front of her and said, "You don't have to go."

"No, I really do." Caspia stepped past him and walked out of the room. Hawk couldn't help but sigh, but he quickly turned back to Miguel. "You doing alright, man?"

Miguel gave him a 'really' look. "Dumb question. My bad. But hey, you'll pull through. You're El Serpiente!"

Miguel smiled and so did Hawk, but Miguel wanted to change the subject. He was sick of people asking him if he was okay when he clearly wasn't and he wanted to know what was happening with his best friend and Hawk. "I thought you two were getting closer."

"We don't have to talk about that-"

"We are. I don't want people asking if I'm okay because I have heard that question way too much." Miguel said jokingly which got a laugh out of Hawk. "I want to know if she's okay. Her aunt told me that she didn't talk for two weeks."

"She didn't?" Miguel shrugged his shoulders. "So, can you tell me what happened with you two?"

"I think she knows I took the medal and that I trashed Miyagi-Do." Hawk looked ashamed of it and Miguel sighed. "She was going to find out eventually. Can't believe you kept it from her for so long."

"I just wanted her to like me. I knew she wouldn't if she knew what I did. Obviously I was right." Miguel sighed. "Dude, she liked you before you were like this. I should know, she wouldn't shut up about you. She'd yell at me through the wall every time you texted her. She likes you a lot, but you broke her trust."

"Yeah, I know."

"Just give her time and don't act like a dick." Hawk couldn't help but laugh and Miguel did too. Hawk was willing to do anything to Caspia back, but he was doing everything Kreese was telling him to, which is not good because Caspia would never approve.
