Nate raised an eyebrow. "Why would he visit Cesar?"

"I'm not sure," Lucius sighed, the thoughts bothering him. There was no concrete answer and since none of them truly knew Draco, they couldn't guess his next moves. "You think I should follow him?"

"I think we should have fun tonight, Lucy." Lucius slightly opened his eyes when he heard a very brief tremble in Nate's voice. The thought of Lucius not being at the bar had saddened him, and Lucius had been getting better at picking up on Nate's feelings through various physical cues. "We never get to leave the base. Can't we forget about Draco for one night?"

The end of Lucius' lips turned upwards. "You're such a kid," he mocked, shaking his head. It hadn't been reassuring enough to Nate who sighed, tilting his head to the side and staring back at Lucius with his bulbous eye that made Lucius instantly feel guilty. "I'll come with you," he decided, rolling his eyes.

Nate beamed, a lengthy smile stretching his lips as he continued scrubbing his scalp. However, his fingers slowed a little bit when a thought crossed his mind. "Wait, is this against one of the boundaries?"

Lucius couldn't help but smile, letting the fumes exhale into the steam from the bathtub. With a teasing smirk curling his lips, he breathed, "No but it could be." He noticed Nate's breathing suddenly skip an exhale, and his eyes instantly widened in shock. Then, as if he wasn't sure what to do, he looked away and glanced around, staring at separate lines along the walls and trying his hardest not to meet Lucius' pressuring gaze because his cheeks would only grow even redder. That was when Lucius burst out into cackles. "I'm kidding!" he laughed, swiping the water for it to splash a few droplets towards Nate's face. "I'm sure friends do that, right? We should be able to bathe together without it being intimate, just don't fuck me."

"I'm changing the conversation," Nate grumbled which made Lucius burst into louder cackles, laughing so hard that he almost dropped his cigarette in the bathtub. It was always refreshing to see the shift in Lucius's personality whenever they were alone. In front of the others, he was grumpy and aggressive most of the time, and didn't speak very much, which in turn made Nate feel tense. However, when they were on their own, Lucius had a playfulness to him, a child giddiness, as if he never had the chance to reveal this side when he was younger.

As Nate began rinsing his hair, he observed Lucius extinguish his cigarette with the edge of the bathtub. The thought of being intimate made him think of a recent encounter, and he couldn't help but blurt, "I think Jake likes you."

Lucius paused for a moment, his face remaining blank. It was as if he was lost into thought, until he asked, "Who's Jake?"

"Stop," Nate chuckled, shaking his head. "You know who Jake is." When only confusion twisted Lucius's face, it made Nate frown. "Blond with blue eyes?"

"Hmm..." There was no further response from him. Instead, he reached for the shampoo Nate had used and filled his hands with it before beginning to scrub his scalp.

That made Nate raised an eyebrow as he insisted, "Do you know who I'm talking about?"

"Yes, yes," Lucius grumbled, "I do."

Nate raised an eyebrow; he wasn't sure if Lucius was doing this on purpose or he truly never considered Jake as an actual presence. "He compliments you all the time."

The highly raised eyebrow that stretched Lucius face solidified Nate's answer; Lucius didn't take notice of Jake whatsoever. "Does he?"
