Avery POV
"Penny for thoughts?" Ally asked me
"Hmm?" I asked her as I looked at her
I'm back at work and we were doing circle time with the kids. Which I thought we were doing. But I'm guessing it's finish now because the kids are by themselves planning. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about what happened to Niall after his birthday. He is not himself. After he read that note from Ally something happened to him. He is like overprotective of me now whenever I go out by myself or with Lilly or Ally. Now, this man hired a security guard to follow me everywhere ago and why is that? My dad is jail still so he so won't get me right? I don't know but after he read that letter from Ally he was triggered if something would've happened to me.
"I'm asking if you're okay. You zooned out during circle time" she said
"Oh sorry. There's lots of things going in my mind right now" I told her
"Like?" she asked
"Can I ask you something?" I asked her
"Sure. Do you want to talk in private since we have these new workers now?" Ally asked
Allison hired 2 new more workers in this past month. One of them is a student who is doing volunteer hours and the other one is here working permanently and there both nice but I'm not close with them yet like I'm close with Ally.
"We could talk by your table" I told her and she nodded
"Okay I'm going to ask Olivia to take over for a bit" she said and I nodded
I walked to her computer and sat down on her chair. I looked at Ally who was talking to Olivia who is our permanent worker here.
"Okay. I'm all hears. What's wrong?" Ally asked me as she walked over to me
"What did you actually right on the letter that you gave to Niall?" I asked her
"Like I told I just told him how much a fan -" she said but I cut her off
"I want the truth Ally. After he read your letter. He got over protective of me. He has been with me everywhere I go now. I don't mind really but sometimes I always want my alone time. So, tell me what did you right in the letter?" I asked her and she looked at me for a second before telling me
"I'm telling you the truth Avery. I just told how much a fan I was of him and I decided to put it in a letter and tell him how much I idolized him and how much I love his music. That's it. I swear" she said
"Are you sure?" I asked her
"I pinky swear" she said as she held out her pinky
I chucked and wrapped my pinky around her finger.
"Okay. I believe in you" I told her and she smiled at me
"Thanks Avery. By the way, are you and Niall good?" she asked me
"Yeah we are. Why?" I asked her
"It's just that he doesn't come by here" she said
"Oh. He has been busy in the studio lately" I told her
"Oh really? That means new song?" she asked and I chuckled
"I don't know. He said he has been writing and he has been writing on the new journal book that I got him for his birthday" I told her
"Oh that's good. We should go back. I don't want Alison think we are just talking" she said and I nodded
"Yeah that's true. Hey can I use your laptop before I go back?" I asked her
