It's been 10 years since I wrote/uploaded the first episode of this fanfiction back on the 14th Feb 2014 (on another website originally and i first posted it on here a while later) I can't quite believe it was 10 years ago (where does the time go?!) I didn't really pay much attention to the fact that it was Valentine's day when I wrote and posted Episode 693 but 10 years later I thought it would be nice to write a one off special episode to mark the 10-year anniversary and since it was Valentines day when I posted the first episode it seemed like a nice idea to write a valentines day special as it's something a bit different and I've written other specials in the past including a Christmas and New Year special, a special episode set in New York, a concert episode, a special about a twin swapping places with the other twin and a ''horror story'' mini series
Bea Smith is lying on her bed, looking happy and dreamy, when Doreen walks into the room Doreen - Why are you looking so happy Bea? Bea - Today is the day Ken is visiting me and i am convinced he will propose to me today. He said he has something important to tell me and i know this must be it. My dreams will finally come true and i will be Ken's wife!
A while later Vera Bennett arrives at Bea's cell Vera - Come, with me, Smith, you have a visitor Bea looks excited Bea - Is it Ken? Vera is grumpy as usual Vera - Yes who else? He is the only person who visits you these days and his visits are getting way out of control if you ask me Bea looks delighted Bea - Well lets not keep the man waiting then Vera Bea leaves the cell with a spring in her step They walk along the corridor and Vera looks confused by why Bea is so happy Vera - What's got into you today anyway? Bea - Today Ken will ask me to marry him i know it! Vera chuckles Vera - Don't be so ridiculous! Mr Pearce isn't going to ask you to marry him he is going to tell you he is finishing with you so he can go back to his wife Bea - You're full of bull Vera. Ken and Marion split up ages ago Vera- Yes but i am sure he wants to get back with her You see i saw him and Marion together in a restaurant a few weeks ago they looked very friendly together. They held hands, hugged and kissed Bea glares angrily at Vera Bea - Look i know you are just lying to me ok. You just love to upset me i know that but i won't fool for your spiteful lies Vera Vera shrugs Vera- Don't believe me then but don't say i didn't try to warm you
Ken is waiting in the visitors room as Bea is shown in and she runs to hug him Bea - Oh Ken darling I've been looking forward to this all day. You said you had something important to tell me? Ken looks very serious Ken - Yes Bea that's right and I've been trying to pluck up the courage to tell you for months now Bea can hardly contain herself Bea -The answers yes i will Ken looks confused Ken - You will what? Bea smiles with joy Bea - I will marry you of course! I've been hoping and waiting for you to ask for months now! You've made me the happiest woman alive in the entire world right now! Ken shakes his head in sadness and guilt Ken - Oh god Bea I'm so sorry. I'm not going to ask you to marry me. I came here today to finish with you The big smile on Bea's face disappears in an instant and she looks crushed Bea - You're finishing with me? Ken - Yes honey I've been trying to tell you for weeks but its so hard. I am going to give it another go with my wife Marion Bea shakes her head in shock and heartbreak and tears roll down her face Vera smirks, cruelly, in the background Bea - No surely not. You told me it was over for good with her Ken - Well i was wrong. I realised a while ago i still love Marion and i want a future with her Bea weeps in her chair Bea - I thought you loved me Ken - I did but Marion is still my wife and i love her more Bea - I thought we had a future together. I really thought you were going to ask me to marry you Ken - I'm so sorry Bea Ken kisses Bea on the forehead and stands up Ken - Maybe in another life eh Bea Bea nods her head despondently Ken walks out Bea looks up and see's Vera smirking at her Vera - Come along Bea! Time to go back to work now! Bea is angry and bitter Bea - I bet this has made your day hasn't it Vera you bitch Vera laughs cheerfully Vera - Well i hate to be the one to say i told you so...but...i told you so!
