Elena Villarreal, a young DEA agent with a tremendous thirst for revenge, is sent to Tijuana with the task of finding and imprisoning the gang leader "El Pinzón", also known as Alejandro Estrada-Beltrán. However, her mission isn't quite as simple as she'd expected it to be.
Assisted by the ex-special agent, Blake Acosta and the unexpected company of her best friend, the operation starts off rather promising. But her tumultuous encounter with Alejandro's younger brother, Ramón, unfolds a series of events that push her to make strategic decisions, changing the entirety of her plan.
Elena works side by side with Ramón in order to get rid of Sinaloa's cártel, infiltrating the Estrada-Beltrán's family and gathering information on their own gang. Although, as time passes, her morals and beliefs are put into question, blurring the lines between right or wrong that she had so delicately traced.
