20- Katies apartment

Ellies pov:
I locked my car and went back into Beth's house to wait for katie to finish tidying. I drummed my fingers impatiently against the step I was sitting on. "I'm finished" Katie said emerging from the lounge. "Only took you a year!" I joked nudging her arm. She rolled her eyes at me before opening the front door for me. "Bye beth! Bye viv!" I shouted before stepping outside.

We got into Katie's car and her smile disappeared. She drove for about a minute then pulled over and switched the car off. "Did you really think you would be able to do what you did tonight and get away with it?" She asked raising her eyebrow. I was momentarily stunned before I replied a small "Yes". Katie chuckled before turning the car on again. "Millies house is that way" I pointed out. "I know but my apartment this way" She said smiling innocently.

Katie's pov:
I reached over and put my hand on Ellies thigh. She breathed in sharply. "Calm down I can practically hear your heart racing from here" I giggled. "Oh shush you!" Ellie replied. I slipped my hand up higher causing her to whine slightly.

She let out a small moan and her hips buckled forwards slightly. " Dont do that or I will pull this car over right now." I growled holding her hips down. She let out a small giggle before interlocking our fingers.

Ellies pov:
Katie carried me inside her apartment closing the door with her foot. She walked over to the side and put me down gently. I slipped my coat off and threw my bag on the floor. She walked towards me and kissed me roughly. I put my hand out to steady myself. "What's this?" I asked picking up an envelope that my hand landed on with my name on the front. "Nothing." Katie said going red attempting to snatch it off of me. I hoped of the side and ran into the bathroom with katie hot on my heels. I locked the door just in time. "Ellie dont read it! its stupid." She said banging on the door.

I hesitated before opening the letter. I gasped. It was handwritten by katie. I unlocked the door and she was standing there looking down at the floor. "This is so cute" I said holding up the letter. "I tried to drop it off at Beth's but u weren't there." She replied embarrassed.

Dear Ellie,
I'm so so sorry. I can't put into words how much I miss you. Beth came by today to pick up all of your stuff and the apartment feels so alone. I cant even sleep in my bed anymore without feeling like theres something missing. But in reality theres someone missing. Please come home Ellie. I need you.

Katie's pov:
Nows the time to say it to her face. I need to tell her I love her properly. "I'm going out on loan. To manchester city." Ellie blurted out. My vision went blurry for a second. "Oh." I said coughing slightly. "Not because of you. Jonas said I needed to" She said sighing. "I understand." I said reassuring her. She smiled at me before pulling me in for a kiss. "I love you Katie." She whispered. "I love you too Ellie." I whispered back smiling like crazy.

Ellies pov:
I woke up to the sun peaking through the curtains. I groaned slightly. The person in bed with me began placing small kisses on my bare back. I rolled over to see katie staring at me. "Morning Beautiful" She said placing a kiss on my lips. God her morning voice was hot. I'll never get used to that.

"Morning" I grumbled rubbing my eyes.
Katie's hand stroked my cheek then dropped to my chin tilting my head towards hers. She chuckled. "What?" I asked confused. "Your neck" She said giggling. "What about it?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Let's just say you can tell how much I missed you" She said placing her lips behind my ear causing me to shiver. "Your going to be the death of me Mccabe" I whispered.

After me and katie eventually got out of bed after many failed attempts I walked into the kitchen to make some food. I turned the kettle on and started scrolling through Instagram before I got a message.

Beth said you went
home with katie?

I felt Katie's arms snake around my waist as she rested her head on my shoulder. "Shes not wrong though is she?" Katie said smirking. "From what I can recall you also definitely seemed to be having fun. If I remembered correctly you told me on multiple occasions not to stop..." Katie said kissing my neck. "Oh shush!" I said huffing with a smile.

Ellies pov:
Me and Katie arrived at training together. Alessia was standing in the carpark impatiently. As soon as Katie stopped the car she opened the passenger car door and dragged me out. "Sorry Katie!" She said with a smile. I turned to katie apologetically and she just smiled before getting out herself as Alessia dragged me towards the pitch.

"What's so important?" I asked confused. "You need to stay here" Alessia said stopping in the middle of the training ground. "On my own?" I asked confused. "Yes, I'll come get you in a second I promise!" She said running off. God that woman confused me. While I was waiting I scrolled through Instagram. I saw that I had been tagged in the same post multiple times not just by normal people but my teammates to. Curiously I clicked on the post to see it was a young girl wearing my Arsenal shirt doing my celebration in one photo. She was in the hospital and her make a wish was for me to visit her.

I quickly typed put a few emails to my agent and she said she would arrange it. "You can come now!" Alessia said runnngover out of breath. Worried I followed Alessia inside. The whole team was standing in the office and there were balloons on the ceiling. "What's going on?" I asked confused. "You got picked for the England squad! And you dont have to go out on loan! And theres someone here to see you" Alessia said excitedly as everyone clapped.
