I walked inside the room and my jaw dropped to see his big and beautiful the room is. There was a large black window in the side that had the Volterra city's view, a large bed in the center, a fireplace, and a chandelier in the ceiling
"This is all mine? " I asked and turned to the twins to see them chuckle and nod their head
" the masters prepared this room for you, " Alec says
I was a relief when the twins began helping me unpack my clothes in the walk-in closet
my clothes weren't that much since I didn't pack that too many and have still some other things left behind in my mom's house. But I didn't have any intention of going back to that horrible place
When I finally changed my clothes, I let the twins stay with me inside my room to keep me company
" so you're both twins? " I began asking as I threw the match in the fireplace to begin the fire, warming up the room

The story continues with how the twins were found by Aro after their village tried to kill them when they were young, by accusing them of using witchcraft. I immediately felt bad for the twins when they were turned into vampires at a very young age
but they assured me that they are happy where they are right now, in the castle that they see as home and protected
The three of us sat together in my bed and continued telling stories together. As time passed by, I didn't realize that it was already late. I found myself laughing with Jane in bed as Alec continued telling silly stories
They both look very happy and alive unlike earlier. When the twins are near me, I can feel the bond between us, I just want to love them like my own children
But our moment was cut off them we heard a knock on the door
" come in! " I shouted. The door opened and Caius walked in, his eyes landed on Jane and Alec as the both of them immediately got off the bed and stood together, bowing their heads at Caius
" master " they acknowledged, their voice changed into cold ones like they had before. I watched as Caius dismissed them, making the twins leave the room instantly
I took a deep breath when the door was shut. Caius turns to me and smiled
" I see you're now comfortable with you're new chambers and getting to know the twins very well " He begins and takes off his cloak, setting it down on the couch.
" you did prepare this room for me? " I asked as Caius took a seat, while his eyes never left mine. He nods
" of course, it was built decades ago and we made sure no one stayed here since this is the queen's chamber " Caius explained and smirked. I can't help but not to chuckle as Caius stands and sits beside me.
I stopped in my tracks when feeling his hand cup my face, making me look into his eyes and blush
