It's 7 in the morning at dalawa palang kami ng isang barista ko ang nasa shop. I came here early to bake pastries kasi may gagawin pa ako sa flower shop ko mamaya.

Tumunog iyong bell na nakasabit sa pintuan ng coffee shop, indicating that someone came in.

Napaangat ako ng tingin and saw Dr. Hans coming in. He's wearing a casual exercise clothes. Look likes he came from a long run.

He did not reply to my message last night so ang alam ko nasa province na ulit siya kaya medyo gulat ako na makita siya ngayon.

"Doc." saad ko.

"Can I have a double shot espresso?" order niya.

"Ok, anything else?" tanong ko habang tinatype ang order niya.

Tumingin siya sa menu sa screen sa likod ko.

"Uhh, I'll have one slice of chocolate cake." dagdag niya.

He went to the same spot where he seated the first time he came here.

I served his order within a minute.

"Sorry I was not able to reply to your message. Wala akong load." he quicky said pagkalapag ko ng order niya.

"Uh, Okay lang Doc. I thought you went back to the province narin kasi." sagot ko.

"Just call me Hans." he said instead

Tumango tango lang ako.

"And about the medical missions, I think we can still do it but collaborate with the hospital instead. I am planning to come back here for good." sunod na sabi niya.

I am not expecting that.

"And, when is your free time? Maybe we could have a dinner together?" tanong niya pa.

Is he asking me out for dinner? Why?

Maybe he saw how confused my face was.

"I wanted to thank you properly." dagdag niya. Mas lalo naman akong naguluhan.

"Thank me for what?" tanong ko

"You know what you did." sagot niya. Gusto niya pa atang maglaro ng hulaan.

"I actually don't know." sagot ko. Kasi totoo naman.

"You saved my life." deretsong sagot niya.

"You know." tanging saad ko.

"Just recently." sagot niya.

Tumango tango nalang ako.

"So when are you free?" tanong niya ulit.

"Free naman ako mamayang gabi, but seriously, it's okay." sagot ko.

"It's not okay to me. I'll pick you up this evening then." saad niya.

"Sige." sagot ko nalang at bumalik sa counter.

After making sure the coffee shop is okay. I went to the flower shop to check of the flowers are still fresh and if I need to re-stock, my staff are doing there best naman so they're still good.

I did some flower arranging too before going home to take a bath.

I just wore a casual clothes. A white tshirt tucked in on my black long trousers. I slip on my my sneakers before getting my tote bag. I love this bag cause it's convenient to carry for me, plus marami akong nalalagay.
