Chapter 20

Y/n's POV

I wake up feeling groggy and pain in my whole body. I cough, but it hurts my chest. I sit up to see I'm in a bed and realise the guys are all around me.

''Hey, hey take it easy.'' Heeseung said softly as he's first to my side. He sits on my left, helping me sit up slowly. He puts the pillows behind my back to support me.

''Here, have some water.'' Jake said, passing me a small glass. I nod, taking it and having small sips.

''What happened?'' I ask.

''What can you remember, babe?'' Heeseung asks. I look at my body to see some bruises and patched up cuts.

''Uhh... we were watching a movie.... I.. I heard noises from the back door... T-There were people coming in... I told Thea and we went to your office... she said something about alerting Jungwon, something about the house system being connected to his phone.'' I begin to explain as I slowly remember.

''Yeah, an alert went off on my phone, it didn't say anything except emergency.'' Jungwon tells me. I nod as Heeseung takes my hand, rubbing a thumb over my knuckles.

''Just as Thea sent it... there was an explosion.. I said to run and as we were about to get out... there was a bomb right under us. I remember flames, smoke, pain and my body on the staircase. I saw the light from the front door open and heard my name before blacking out.'' I finish.

''Babe... it was us calling you. We came home to see the house on fire and destroyed and you passed out as I got you.'' Heeseung tells me. I look at him and the others to see they've all been crying.

''W-Where are we then?'' I ask.

''Our second base. We had another home set up if something were to happen. We didn't ever think we'd need to use it.'' Jay answers. I nod and then realise Thea's not here.

''W-Where's Thea?'' I call. I see the guys look down and Heeseung's grip on my hand tightens a bit.

''S-She's gone. S-She wasn't there when we got home. There was a note.'' Niki responds. He passes me a crumpled up piece of paper, letting me read it.

We have your sister. Lets hope she doesn't end up like the other chick. You have twenty-four hours to give us what we want. We will be in touch soon.

''Who has her?'' I question.

''Stray kids. Another mafia group who dropped off the surface for a while but now think its okay to come back.'' Jake answers.

''I'm sorry. You'll get her back. I-I want to help b-but feel like I'm going to be useless.'' I said. Heeseung gives me a soft smile and kisses my cheek.

''I know you want to help but I want you to heal. Once Chan contacts us we'll get Thea back. We have some help now.'' He responds. I hear the door open and see the guy from that party a while back, Yeonjun if I remember, followed by four other males.

''Babe, if you remember, this is Yeonjun. The others are Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai. Also known as TXT.'' Heeseung tells me. The five males give me a smile and bow.

''Its nice to finally be officially introduced.'' I smile a bit.

''How are you going to get Thea back?'' I ask.

''Jungwon's trying to track her. She's got a small tracker in her bracelet she never takes off, for reasons like this. Other than that, we're waiting for Chan.'' Sunghoon answers.

''Kinda like the one I had for the party?'' Heeseung nods.

''Can I help you, Jungwon?'' I question, the younger hacker looks up at me, glancing at Heeseung.

''You need rest.'' Heeseung tells me.

''I want to help.'' I respond. He kisses my lips before getting up, the others following.

''Help by getting rest. Your phone is next to you, text us if you need anything. I'll let you know about Thea once we know something. I love you.'' He tells me before leaving the room. I sigh and lay down in the bed, trying to ignore some of the pain in my body.
